there are some weapons already being used by the creatures in the clockworks that would be awesome if we could use them on knights.
I'm not very well versed on the monster names so bear with me:
flame thrower: there's a type of gremlin and gun-puppy who wield a flamethrower. it shoots out a straight line of fire which persists and ignites enemies.
shotguns: the gun-puppies in the JK mission have a triple shot ability that would be cool as a "shotgun" some of the higher level ones have a huge spray of shots like the autogun except it comes out in a single wave.
rockets: in the roarmulus twins mission there are rocket-puppies and rocket traps that I think would work well as a "bazooka" weapon. the charge attack on these could be like the throw-able rockets in lockdown, they explode once and have smaller explosions around it.
beams: I believe the roarmulus twins themselves also have a laserbeam attack they pull out every once in awhile, the energy turrets used by the npc knights have one too. certain constructs can use a beam as well.
mortars: some gremlins carry around a mortar, they fire and it falls from the sky wherever the curser is, exploding in a small area. the charge attack could be like the use item "artillery strike"
halfshields: the bigger gremlin thwakers and the trojans have half shields, they only cover the front or the back but they have greater HP than a full shield.
now onto the lockdown shields:
guardian: maybe they could stand to have an HP boost if used in PVE because of the amount of damage sources but it would be a cool tank item.
striker: you have no ability to block damage but you can run from it!
recon: honestly I don't know why you'd ever use this but it's huge duration would help hide or escape from very dangerous groups of monsters or bigger monsters, at least for a time.
Well about weapons used by creatures, well i wouldn't mind some of them making their way to our arsenal, but honestly they would need to be adapted to the players controls so it might be not easy to make them
and about lockdown shileds well i tought about something that could let us block at least some types of attacks without shields useing our wepaons to block(wrote more about it in my suggestion topic, can link it if you're interested) but that woudl need some changes in the combat system.
