I'm lagging so badly it's gotten to the point where the game just froze. On the map. Not the game itself, music and gameplay was fine but everyone else froze.
Does anyone know how to improve this on my side? I believe it's because I'm in Asia (IM SO FAR AWAY NOOOO D:) so the connection is bad.

Well, there's FPS lag where your computer is getting like around a maximum of 3 frames per second. And then there's ping lag where everything you do has a second or two delay. I live in Guam and my experience in the game has been alright, although I do get connection issues more often than I like.
I think it might have little to do with the distance and more of the fact that your ISP sux. A good connection would be able to amass a playable ping, but if your connection is slow to start with...yeah, you'll be having problems.

And my older-than-me PC still runs the game incredibly smoothly.
