ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING. This game is amazing, and you are just letting it to rot. The game has amazing fanbase, music, and gameplay. A lot of work has been brought into it, and you, Grey Havens, aren't doing diddly squat to make it better. Because of you, you are going to make this wonderful game DIE.
I am a long time veteran. I have been playing since the game's release and never stopped playing it. Stop creating costumes and make this game GREAT AGAIN.

There is stuff happening, it just isn't fast. What is done fast isn't glorious (ie, troubleshooting Steam Mac client on 10.10 and earlier. Not gonna lie, the speed on which that task was openly worked on and 'resolved' [not fixed, sadly] was impressive in my eyes), and won't always be "the thing" that makes the next person claim that the game isn't dying anymore.

You don't even know how many people work in GH's SK team. One developer? Two?
The lead designer left the company three years ago. You are just an another whiner who did not interpret correctly what was happening.
Do keep in mind that for every game that dies, hundreds will take its place. Some day, maybe another company will make something similar and give it a better treatment.

People are just playing for the love of the game now, bro. We don't care that it's dead af or that updates will never happen. It's never gonna be like how it was and that's a fact that most everyone has accepted who's been here for any decent amount of time. Just enjoy that the servers are still up if you actually enjoy SK still. If you're bored or disappointed, it's time to move on, homie. Simple as that.
Seriously, people, I'm getting too tired of such posts showing up over and over again, like "they're still not doing anything to the game!", or, "where's the life this game used to have?". It's all getting too old like a rotted vegetable that's been spoiled for being out too long.
This kind of repetitiveness about people making posts about the game's lack of big updates has to stop... NOW. Every post like this gets people too riled up, and they'd rather vent their rage out on bosses, Lockdown, and Blast Network battles than post tiresome posts about the game's inactivity any day.
Honestly, GH is still doing the work. The fact is, they're a small team, and they're still doing everything they can to iron out whatever remaining issues they've had since their big move and keep the game going. I don't know how far they've gone since they last posted their status on it, but I'm sure it's progressed by now.
If some of you still lack patience about this game, go do something else to vent off your impatience until GH posts more info. This game's not going anywhere. I get that some things get a bit boring while they're inactive, but, come on.
Now, this is to say from me, I'm getting SO tired of many people repeatedly posting the same thing about SK's inactivity over and over. I'm sure there are some that feel the same feeling I have about this repetitiveness going on again and again.
As a community we're been saying the same thing to these sorts of posts for 6 years.
Remember that there are two teams working at Grey Havens - one for Spiral Knights, and one for Puzzle Pirates. This splits up the already small team even smaller.
Seeing as Puzzle Pirates is seeing the start of an expansive update, I wouldn't be surprised to see a sort of revamp show up for Spiral Knights in the future. :)
Sad behavior for a veteran, even I was there for the content to be, and seeing how content has been slow, the game is still something great. To show ignorance like this, you are not very appreciative, are you? as they say "patience is a virtue", and I have a lot of that. Don't get your throat cut down the Clockworks, till your final gasp.

Ya know, people keep on ranting about this game, when they could've just switch to any kind game. Heck, there's a lot of them. (Maybe they've never played games other than SK.) Just go find something else while we wait for a status update... if you're THAT bored....

Yeah. I exactly don't know how many staff are currently working at GH now, given that they have two teams working on Spiral Knights & Puzzle Pirates, but if anyone could do research on that one day, I'd be glad with the status report.

At this point I'm just glad the servers are still up and running. I mean if it weren't for Grey Havens, the game would be literally dead, right? Due to the size of the development team, I don't think we can be expecting updates any time soon, and when the time comes, only minor things. But I don't blame that at all. I imagine simply keeping a game functional is a bit of effort too, so be grateful they manage to do that, at least.
Grey Havens is likely still working on the game as it has already been confirmed. Main reason why they don't post anything about what they are working on specifically is because they don't want to generate too much hype. At the very least, they're learning from past mistakes (Gunner Update).
Sorry, I wrote this when I was tired so I wasn't thinking straight.
You all have good points, and I understand now why they don't really talk about future updates. I'm just tired of the costumes, am I the only one? Sure they make good items to sell, so you can get new weapons, but what's the point of new weapons when you're only going to be messing around in Vana and LD?
I still have hope for this game, and I really hope it doesn't die soon. This game is too dear to me. If they DO shut it down, at least let us have an offline version of the game and let us trade items via Steam or something (I don't know how this works).
It's all right. Some people just lose their cool at times their patience gets worn off for too long.
Let's not forget, if GH requests people to help out with SK's development, even if it means by volunteering, they'll let us know. Until that time, I'd prepare for it if I were you. Some people are preparing for such a day, and they're eager to do it once GH says the word.
Before i was thinking positive,with patience to see results after some time.Didnt happen.You lose your time by making raging comments.If you dont think this game will get a serious update and tired to play the same things over and over i would advise to take a break at least.You forget the frustration and if they ever update you ll return and you ll enjoy the game more than feel sad and dissapointed everytime you play.
