Energy trade for less than my posted price?

In the Market (Supply Depot) I posted 4 offers, 10,4k crowns for 100 energy each one. When I log in, after a while, I got 2 mails from the "EnergyDepot" with the following messages:
- Crowns Recieved
- You have been refunded 1,520 crowns as the result of an energy trade taking place for less than your posted buy price (and the 1,520 crowns)
- Energy Recieved
- You have recieved 400 energy as the result of an energy trade (and the 400 energy)
I got 380 crowns free for each trade wtf?
It is possible to post an offer to sell, for a lower price than the lowest current offer to buy. It doesn't happen often, because it doesn't serve rational self-interest, but sometimes people do it in an attempt to lower energy prices, or as a joke.
So if you have the lowest offer to buy, and someone posts a lower offer to sell, then the transaction occurs, with the difference returned to the buyer? I haven't experienced this myself, but that's my guess. Cheers.
