With the current event there's hazards and no AT in lockdown! I figured I'd try to get as many pictures as I could of them so you all could see what we're up against.
Not gonna lie, this is something I've been vouching for for quite some time in one way or another, and to see it finally implemented (and in such a wonderful fashion!) is super cool! Even if it is just temporary, it's a lot of fun.
The lichens especially are a fun hazard. :)
Sadly I can't participate in these thingies at the moment, but those rocket puppies sure like to throw their weight around!
The instantly-respawning explosive blocks are... quite the hazard. Any gunner with a fast bullet can become a long range bomber with those things!
There was also one bullet pattern in the shape of a scythe I couldn't get to show up after I started recording them.
... It's a good thing we don't have gun puppies in the shape of a scythe. Shudders
Dohohoho. I've long since retired from LD as it was never really my cup of tea. Got enough for all my recipes and got out!
But I may have to watch a few matches.

The gun puppy isn't all that bad compared to the explosive box. I can barely cap the point because I stand so far away from it due to the fear of getting exploded :p
Plus you can kill your teammates with the block :3

Some "facts":
- On 3-point maps Forest, Mines and Gardens you can find bullets in any status color (fire, freeze, shock, poison). Of course, there's only 1 type of bullets during each game. Other 3-point maps always have got bullets of certain fixed color(Furnace - fire, Reactor - shock, Frostbite - freeze, Avenue - freeze). I haven't seen many games on 5-point maps.
- All bullets seem to do normal damage without status. Status colors seem to be there just for the show or many players have got good status resistances.
- Rocket Puppy respawns after 5 seconds.
- Lichens are spawning every 10 seconds. It seems there may spawn 2 lichens, 1 or none.
- Throwable rocket respawns after 15 seconds.
- Bullet patterns which you can specify if they are rotating clockwise or counter-clockwise are never found on the middle control point.
- Control points on the opposite sides are always the same. If there's Rocket Puppy on the left, there's Rocket Puppy also on the right.
- If there's bullet pattern on the side rotating clockwise, it is rotating counter-clockwise on the other side and vice versa.
- Scythe pattern is kinda interesting in this. If it's rotating clockwise on the left side of the map and counter-clockwise on the right, its "sharp end" is first. If it's rotating counter-clockwise on the left and clockwise on the right, its stright line is first. Or at least it seems to be.
- Sometimes you can find regular control point without hazards.
Plus you can kill your teammates with the block :3

Thanks for the facts tidbit. The traps are randomly generated every game, but are mirrored so no specific side has a disadvantage/advantage. It's good thinking!
And my lord, the explosive block looks like death when an autogun is involved. I imagine bombers have a love-hate relationship with it.
Lichens can drop +12 vitas that stay with you through the duration of the match. I had one and it was nice having the health of a guard as a striker.
I'm considering coming back to the game just to see this.
Now all we need is for the capture points to (somehow) run away from knights and through low walls. Imagine how fun that would be.
So much pain.
