Okay, so for some this may not be any kind of surprising news, but I just noticed that the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con can be mapped together to work in SK. My Windows PC treats them as individual controllers, but it looks like SK doesn't mind accepting simultaneous input from two controllers anyway.

This might not be a surprise for those who knew that they connect to the system using Bluetooth (and because of that can be paired with a PC or Android phone), but it just seemed like an interesting way to play SK.

I'm sure the Pro controller works as well, and for most that may be better than using the Joy-Con, but it just intrigues me that you can use them. (I also can't test the Pro controller because I don't have one at the moment. :P )

I used to play with a PS3

I used to play with a PS3 controller and mouse to get analog movement and mouse aiming. It was a bit clunky naturally due to the PS3 controller being meant for 2 hands. I'd say Joycon+mouse could pretty damn good, definitely worth a try. SK plays really well with joystick movements and mouse aiming!

Agreed!

Yeah, that'd be a neat way to play I think! Another interesting thing about using the Joy-Con is that all of the buttons function at the same time. On the Switch, the console will ignore the SL and SR buttons when the Joy-Con are being used together, but on a PC that's not the case. So, that means that you'd have an extra 2 buttons per Joy-Con in use!

Now, I have noticed that the SL and SR buttons can be a bit tricky to press on the fly in battle with the Joy-Con held vertically, so perhaps it could be good to map those to menus or something.

I dont own a switch but the

I dont own a switch but the joy-con design looks a bit intricate, I remember way back when i was hoping to find a way to play using the Wii nunchuk, which is super comfortable and well designed as a one hand controller. Sadly not a USB controller. Definitely worth trying this whole mouse+joycon playstyle, it takes time getting used to but it's well worth it :D
