anyways i'm really curious about the kinds of controls people use and how to spot it. For strikers i heard using mouse was very common but for the longest time i couldn't tell who was using wasd and mouse, especially since wasd players can do the u movement while mouse players have really high sensitivity they can just go exactly where they want and turn really quick. It took me a long time to figure out which is which but now there are controllers as well!!! Anyways i was hoping for a detailed explanation of the different controls. As for me i used mouse at first but i found it too difficult since i kept running into DA swings and i switched over to wasd, with it i was lot more patient and i figured out how to use boost a lot more effectively since i run normally when i wanna go diagonally and since i can aim with mouse hitting people was a lot easier. The hard part was aiming where u wanna go the whole time when you do you boost. It took some time but now i just do u movements and use a ff. It's been really effective so far but if u have more tips please share. Sorry for the messy writing i'm bad with this kind of stuff.
hey you i saw that put it back!

oh
WASD - Movement
Q - Weapon 1
E - Weapon 2( just so i know what i'm switching to)
X - Shield
Right mouse - Attack
Shift - Move forward
C - Dash
yea i was using the same setup at some point but i became too dependent on mouse(move fwd) so i switched over to only using wasd to make it more common for me to use. Anyway this was just a bad habit but I've seen people who switch from wasd to mouse at the right times. If i ever go full gunner i'll be sure to use your controls :)
Right Mouse Click - Move Forward
Left Mouse Click - Attack
X - Shield
WASD - Movement
1 - Weapon 1
2 - Weapon 2
Dash - C
Pretty generic setup I think. I use a mixture of mouse and keyboard to move around. I don't have a means for actually looking a certain direction except with my mouse since my WASD keys only make me move, not look. I think I usually hold the left mouse button and X when I'm just boosting around, but in the heat of battle, there is a good mix of mouse movement and keyboard movement, so I can't get too specific about that; it's mostly just how I feel I should move in particular situations. I wanna say I use WASD for more micro movements while in a fight. I know for a fact that I use WASD when I'm shooting and then using mouse movement to relocate if people are closing the gap on me. 2 is my gun so I just do standard same-switch technique; X, 1, 2, Left Click, repeat. I use mouse movement more for escaping with boost and long distance boosting.
Long story short: WASD for micro movements. Mouse for exaggerated movements. Pretty standard.
