Suggestion: Arcade Energy & Boosts

Had this idea for a while now, and I'm not sure if somebody's already discussed it, but what if you could get energy as a drop? Perhaps a little less rare than Orbs and more rare than Fire Crystals, but you could get small amounts of energy dropped from treasure boxes.
It would be in increments of 1 or 2 energy per drop, with rare drops of 5 and super rare drops of 10. They wouldn't come in three's like rarities, but it'd be a slow way of accumulating energy without spending crowns. Thoughts?

My other idea was adding various boosts to the game. These boosts would be a little like the heat boost and weapon slot upgrade and so forth, but a little more common and without a need to buy them. For example, a crown booster as a drop in the Arcade, that would last for a few minutes or so, and any crowns you got during that period of time (while in the clockworks) would have their worth doubled. 1 crown is 2, 5 is 10, and so on, up to 50 crowns being 100. A similar thing would be cooldown boosts for sprites. While you have this boost, your sprite skills cooldown is cut in half for the duration. Other options could be added, like fire crystal and orb drop rate chance boosters. These would work like the attack up, defense up, and speed boost drops.

It means that not many people view the forums and you didn't wait very long :V

As far as pick-up-able energy goes, it seems relatively harmless as a game mechanic- in reality you are only making 10 cr per energy when 100e costs 10k cr. The only thing is it may get on my nerves to have one less energy than I need to buy something from Kozma :/ but I digress.

By the crown booster and sprite cooldown booster do you mean as a usable item like vials and barriers? If so, I think they would work better if they were like the attack, defense, and speed boost orbs for a couple of reasons. First of all, crown boosters sound easily exploitable on a few occasions: for example if you use one before going to the Slime Casino you can make some serious profit, and I don't think GH are looking for more ways for their playerbase to make a killing for free. Also, the sprite cooldown booster sounds like a really cool idea, but I think it would be more fluid and intuitive if as soon as you pick one up the cooldowns instantly start decreasing twice as fast.

I'm all for making rad farming easier with fire crystal boosters.

While the energy dropping in the clockworks isn't that big of a difference, it is the premium currency in the game. As it stands, the crowns you find already should be enough to trade for energy anyways, so you are essentially earning "energy" while gaining crowns.

Crown boosters already exist in the form of elite difficulty. Cooldown boosts would be an interesting mechanic, however they do exist for sprites in terms of leveling up your sprite + their harness.

Fire crystals boosters would be a plus though. They'd be akin to the old elevator passes, which we do need a replacement for now that we have free elevators.
