My problem with Spiral Knights

A lot of people complain about the game not receiving updates, being needing too much grinding, just getting boring. For me I can still tolerate some lack of changes and it being a bit grindy. For me, the reason I'm losing some interest in playing the game is that there's barely any players I can play with. Sometimes I join and only 1 or no guildmates are online. Even if they're online they can be AFK. I don't know if I should join a different guild or Spiral Knights is dying. Since Spiral Knights is an MMO, its gameplay usually is made around a 3 or 4 players in a party. Grinding in this game or any MMO feels more tedious when you're doing it by yourself. I hope the game's player base grows a little so there are more parties to join.

P. S. if there are any active guilds welcome to invite me. I'd accept and would probably play it more often.

agree, but

I agree that grinding is less fun alone. However, almost all guilds go defunct after a couple of months. This happened even when the game was at its peak. The solution is either to work very hard to resurrect your guild (if you are a Guild Master or Officer) or to find another guild. Good luck.

There are some guilds that are stable. They tend to be smaller and less exciting, but they last for a longer amount of time. Why just today I went on some runs with friends from the guild. I'll tell the GM that you're interested I suppose.

thx

Thanks! In my current guild the active GM is usually AFK if online.
