For all Steam users who already played SK

I love achievements, and i love when people see them on Steam, my problem now however is that i will have to reroll a new character in order to get them to show up on steam. Is there any way to transfer characters from my SpiralKnights account, to my steam bound SpiralKnights account? I'm already decked in t4 gear, and don't want to go through the trouble of grinding another 2 weeks to get it all back.

tl;dr Can we transfer characters from basic accounts to steam accounts? and if not, is there any discussion of any kind of implementation concerning this?

ETA was "next week", and that was on 5/18/2011...a month ago. There hasn't been any new responses ether. I would really like to know the status on this, as I have full 5* gear. Unfortunately you can't not reply to announcements threads or I would be posting this there.

I think everyone just needs

I think everyone just needs to take a chill pill. They've announced that they're working on it; it'll be there soon. Think about how hard that probably is: syncing two entirely different databases from different companies that maybe have only a few people who actually are able to interact with each other to make sure it works on both ends.

So, seriously, just wait a week. If you can't do that, you have major problems.
