This suggestion's pretty short and sweet.

Every helm/armor line beginning at 2* has at least two 5* options, EXCEPT for Skelly.
Go ahead and check. I'll wait.

...what do you mean, "What about breakers"? They don't count. They begin at 1* so they can't go up to 5*.
...because it would be unbalancing.
...because of the UVs. You can craft five 1*s for the cost of a 2*, so every 5* breaker would have OP UVs.
Look, just stop arguing with me. You're making this post longer than it needs to be.

Skelly Helm/Armor could use a second 5* option.

Dread Skelly is a really good set. The only reason you don't see it is because of Black Kat. Nevertheless, it would be fair (and could be more interesting) to provide a second option. Perhaps something a bit more specialized than BK, but powerful in its niche?
Would you consider adding one? It would be thematically appropriate for the next Obsidian, Kat, or Hallow event. :D

To be fair, while "black kat" seems to outclass it, the other kat armors legitimately outclass it. Kat eye, hiss, and claw sets, while expensive, have the same defensive power as dread skelly while exchanging its poison resistance for class damage/speed bonuses and shock/minor curse vulnerability.

I think having a MSI themed set might be kinda cool. Perhaps it could exchange some defensive power for MSI: medium on both parts? I can see it being paired with black kat for shadow resistant speed gear. Maybe it could drop poison resist for stun instead, making it a freeze/stun resistant speedster set.

Geebus. MSI Med on both pieces? Plus the pet perk, and occasionally a Drakon boost? You would blueshift running that fast. O_O;;
Don't get me wrong. I love me some more MSI gear--I've got them all. But MSI Med is probably too much, at least on both.

Maybe a Shadow Chaos-like MSI set?
MSI Med on just ONE piece with a Med debuff for Fire/Shock/Poison/Curse? (I vote helm, making people choose between MSI Med or their precious BKC muah-hah-ah-ah).
Total of MSI +3 with the set, which would make it both desirable, unique, useful in general, AND especially useful for BK hunting.

But we digress. The properties on the 2nd 5* option can be determined later. Right now I just want one added. :D
