If you have a large list of items there it freezes up the client while loading. On the other hand, it could make things harder to find but I think the tradeoff is worth it.

Apparently, I've been bidding on enough stuff that accidentally hitting the "my bids" tab lags so long that I will disconnect from the server. The "my auctions" tab isn't as bad, but still very very annoying and I don't want to see it cause disconnects.
Actually, handling small lists of items like this is something computers from the 1980s could handle, you really have to wonder what kind of programming it took to make the "my auctions" and "my bids" screens so slow.
