Please fix the Auction House

With a smaller playerbase, 2 days listing time on the Auction House is not enough time to find a buyer for your items. There's a good chance nobody who actually wants to buy your item will see it in time and that it'll either go unsold or bought for a too low price by someone looking to resell it. Having to pay a listing fee/10% fee while at the same time risking letting your item go for a bad price is just not something anyone is willing to do. Because of that, the AH is usually empty and not worth checking regularly. It's a downwards spiral of potential buyers not frequenting the AH due to a lack of good items and players not listing their good items due to a lack of potential buyers.

Here's a suggestion how to make the AH more appealing to use: Let players list their items for 10 days. As soon as a bid is placed, the timer sets to 2 days and proceeds to function like it does currently.

This way there's a much better chance that someone who is interested in the item will see it and you don't risk losing the listing fee multiple times. If sellers trust the AH more, they will use it more, which means buyers will have more of a reason to check it out once in a while, increasing the amount of trades completed through AH. More trust in the AH as a way to sell off items, more crowns spent on listing fees, more energy converted to crowns in order to bid.

It's an interesting idea, though it would clog the auction house with unbuyables- say I post 2 auctions, one for what it's worth- 50K and one for 2M. The 50K one gets bought, the 2M one stays, and stays, and stays. Since everyone tends to use the highest possible setting, I'd expect to see flocks of these items.

It would however work rather well if the item HAD to be sold OR ELSE something terrible happened. Perhaps if you have to pay up front 30% of the starting bid price for a monthlong auction, and only for items worth over 200K bid? This would be easier to code at least.

The 2M one would still

The 2M one would still disappear after 10 days, and the player listing it for 2M would still pay the listing fee of 10% of starting bid (like it functions now). If it's listed for a 2M starting bid, that player is sinking 200k crowns into the AH for an item that will go unsold and get removed after 10 days.

However what might be good is to raise the minimum listing fee for 10 day listings to at least 5k crowns for example. That way we don't get the current 3 pages of hallow items/1 material/etc listed for 10 days instead of 2. So the listing fee would be either 10% of the starting bid (= the current listing fee for 2 days), with a minimum of 5k.
