Well, in forward. This idea isn't stolen from other people, it's just a coincidence that we had similar ideas for this and sorry for my crappy English, I have some grammar problems, so don't attack me please if I make some mistakes, so let's go to the idea.
So, I had once an idea, of being able to buy "safe cradle islands" and to be able to build or decorate on it. The islands vary in size and form, most of them are randomly generated but have a set "size" AKA how many Square tiles these islands have. These islands can be expanded, but it would cost extra. I explain how big a "start" island can cost and how big is it:
1. The "Small shard of land" island: 100 sqrt (the "t" means like "tile") and it gonna cost 10K crowns (just the island itself, with no extra stuff added. Besides the basic stuff)
2. The "Deserted piece of land" Island: 250 sqrt square and it gonna 25k crowns, added with some small deco, like potted plants and "mailbox"
3. The "Forgotten Island" Island: 500 sqrt square and it gonna cost 50k crowns, added with more stuff, like a home made a workshop for stuff and alchemy machine.
4. The "lost paradise " Island: 1000 sqrt square and it gonna cost 100k crowns, added with much stuff, like a "house", with a more professional workshop for crafting decor and buildings and with a small farm, with a pet monster, based on place (CK: Mew cat, SF: rock jelly, LL: lichen with some small spikes)
These "basic" islands are only available, in jigsaw valley "tile style" (i mean like, that's basic overworld atmosphere and tile style). Other "styles" cost extra, when you buy an island like if you want to "live" on a clockwork tunnel or compound styled place. You gonna pay more, mostly only 10% more, then if you brought a jigsaw Valley Island. For "more atmospheric" islands, you gonna pay crowns AND energy, because these places are more dangerous and need to be harder "cleaned". These "more atmospheric" places would be: Candlestick keep, Scarlet fortress and Licherous lair styled islands.
So, we have done the islands, oh, I forgot to talk about the "modular plots" AKA the extra islands for your main island. These mini islands can be brought or "created" by a small shop near the island buyer. You can too buy more plots, when you are on your island, but you gonna need the bigger islands. These plots cost from 5k to 15k, based on size and type, like a tree filled small plot gonna cost 7,5k crowns and similar. These plots can be crafted, but it costs many mats and stuff, no alchemy orbs needed for these things, same with deco or buildings
These buildings and deco are similar to the Deco in guildhalls, but you see them normally, on "overworld view". Deco would be like, some outdoor chairs and tables potted plants and other decor, statues of "famous" Knights are able to be created. The buildings could be from, accessory makers to some alchemy stations or workshops. Even some small "houses" would be able to build on this islands. This "houses" can be entered and decorate with "indoor" decor.
Okay, thats all, what i had in my head, any comments please ? And sorry if the grammar doesnt work much, so sorry if some things dont work normally. Thanks that you read this wall of text, so ?
I like this idea and i dont like it at the same time.
I like it because it would give us a private place to be and just like stay there. It would bring back quite a bit of people and shut up a bunch of complainers like me.
I DONT like it because it doesnt seem to fit in. Its a decent idea but the wrong game. I mean we already have the Guild Halls. What we really need is an improvement on guild halls. Right now people join guilds mostly based on those places. I want guild halls to be all the same because then there wouldnt be like "Oh ur guild hall sucks so imma join some rich guild."
