I'm thinking of getting a brandish and don't know which to get. I already have the 4 star of the acheron, and I'm not getting a voltedge because I suck at PvP. I also (almost) only do PvE so I'm not looking for anything good for PvP.

Your post doesn't mention damage type: elemental vs. shadow (vs. normal). Once you decide which one you're talking about, you can check out my detailed sword guide.
Short version: Acheron and Combuster.

Yes, obviously acheron if you want shadow damage, but not obsidian edge because that's event only, although I would recommend picking it up some time.

As suggested in the other posts, I would recommend a Combuster (fire) for an elemental brandish line sword. It is the most consistent and damaging.
It would also match your forum avatar :)

You chose wrong

It doesn't matter which one you get because they're mostly the same. Combuster is slightly higher damage and glacius is slightly higher utility, as you can freeze, refreeze, whatever. Generally I think that combuster is "better" because it exemplifies what brandishes do "best"- clear easy content easily and intuitively, so you'll probably enjoy it most. I do think that glacius is more significant however, just because an elemental weak + fiery area that's actually hard (grave scarabs anyone?) may come out at some point, or perhaps a new enemy, or really anything that benefits from freeze greatly. We could really use such an area. Lastly, fire could sure use a buff, as right now it's kind of garbage against enemies. This would improve combuster as well as the other fire weapons, so there's that.
To shorten this sentiment-
Combuster = somewhat better for now and always against most current casual content
Glacius = slightly more future proof, as 100% freeze chance in an aoe is hard to ignore and somewhat unique to it and shiver
