Participant pool will be randomized for Tournament matches.
The tournament will be separated into stages to allow the tournament to progress quickly without hassle.
Each stage will only last 2 weeks to complete.
If a battle cannot be started within 1 week, it will be rearranged with a different fighter in the same tournament stage.

Before starting the tournament, there is a Survival Mode event where all players interested in competition or taking my money can participate without paying any entrance fees.
Survival Mode is a knockout process to minimize the participant pool to 30 members. The 30 participants with the highest amount of points will be the ones participating in the tournament for Grand Prizes.
Survival Mode ends 2 weeks after it is announced. During these 2 weeks, you can fight whoever is listed in the event whenever you want. (List of fighters will be posted on here and you will receive a personal in-game mail)

Send notification mail to both hosts - Skeptics and Pawsmack - if you want to join.
Player’s battles will be updated chronologically and posted on forums
Points and titles will be listed on forums

Survival Mode Rules:

All rules listed on the Tournament Rules section are applicable in this section.
You gain 1 point for each match you win.
Both fighters must have at least 10 points to reap any rewards.
Fighters can only battle the same person once every 48 hours. Judges will verify if the matches are valid.

Fighters with 100 points and over are given free entrance to the tournament.
Top 3 fighters with the most points over 30 get an unlisted prize

Tournament Rules:

For same server matches:
3-0 or best 2 out of 3 (1 person must have 2 wins over the other person)
If tied at 4-4, first fighter to reach 5 wins takes victory.

For different server matches:
3 rounds per server
4-0 or best 3 out of 5 (1 person must have 2 wins over the other person)
If tied at 9-9, first fighter to reach 10 wins takes victory.
If server undecided: have both fighters mail you a choice of rock, paper, or scissors. Winner decides which server.

For undecided different server matches (match ends in 3-3 or 4-2):
Have both fighters mail you a choice of rock, paper, or scissors. Winner decides which server.
Player on opposite server needs 2 wins over the other person.
(Kyoten (USA) vs Talsam (EU). Kyoten can win by 5-3, 6-4, etc. If the match is taking place on EU server).
Player on same server needs 3 wins over the other person.
(Kyoten (USA) vs Talsam (EU). Kyoten can win by 6-3, 7-4, etc. If the match is taking place on USA server).

Time Limit: 90 Seconds Per Round
Recording is OPTIONAL
A judge must be present in the lobby to verify and validate matches
All official matches and rounds must be recorded by a judge.
Players can start anywhere in the fighting area as long as they are both on opposite sides of a capture point.
If pause is taken during match for any reason, you have 12 hours to finish or you will forfeit the match.
If you are caught interrupting someone's match: first offense = warning, second offense = 2 points deducted.

** 2 categories under Gear Restrictions are able to become voided if BOTH parties reach MUTUAL AGREEMENT. In other words, you can uplift a restriction to use the gear that's been removed. Just confirm which 2 restrictions you would like removed to the judge and continue the match normally. If both parties CAN NOT reach and agreement (You don't have to agree if you don't want to), then all restrictions apply.

Permanent:

No Auto-Target!
It's not honorable if you're using aim assistance to win a battle =(!

No leaving the battle area until round is done
We want to see the fight not imagine it!

Blacklisted Maps:
Icebox
Downtown
Fortress

These maps contain nearby traps that may interfere with the battle

Gear Restrictions:

No Acheron
Too much damage for the speed that it swings

No Sealed Sword or Rocket Hammer lines
Sorry! The wide hit-box and massive damage makes things less competitive!

No Pulsar lines
Too much area denial is an issue, so let's just remove it completely =(

No status handguns (Alchemers, Mixmasters, Carbine, Magnus lines)
Shock, boom, dead. No.

No specialized Blasters! (Arcana, Phantamos, Riftlocker)
That Arcana hurts as much as a sword!!

No FULL Black Kat or Chaos set, don’t mixmatch together either A.K.A. don't BKC+Chaos Cloak / BKR+Chaos Cowl
(e.g. BKC + Justifier Jacket or Skolver helm + Chaos claok are acceptable)
Full weapon damage and/or double movement speed are too high steroids without losing power somewhere else

Obtainable from both Survival Mode event and Tournament. Rewards and titles will be mailed in-game once unlocked.
Titles are only able to be unlocked once during the event or I'll be in debt from student loans.
Titles reset after official Tournament begins.

Hot Streak :: 100 Energy + 3 Points! (Points awarded are re-obtainable after 72 hours)
Win 3 matches in a row.
Streak refreshes after 72 hours.

On Fire! :: 250 Energy + 3 Points! (Points awarded are re-obtainable after 72 hours)
Win 5 matches in a row.
Streak refreshes after 72 hours but remains if 5 is reached. Consecutive wins after 5 will award you double points per battle until a loss.
Point booster can be re-obtained if you re-enter an On Fire! streak after being knocked off, but Energy will only be gained once.
Once 10 consecutive wins are reached, you will be posted above on a Wanted list and can not refuse a fight from any person or it results in forfeit.

Your Road Ends Here :: 200 Energy + 3 Points!
End Someone's Hot Streak!

Defeating A Titan :: 350 Energy + 5 Points!
End someone's On Fire! streak

I’m Only Just Starting! :: 300 Energy + 4 Points!
A person on a Hot Streak ends someone else's!

Only Room For One :: 500 Energy + 7 Points!
A person on a On Fire! streak ends someone else's!

Bet You Haven’t Seen This Before! :: 150 Energy + 3 Points!
Win the match without using the Striker Lockdown class. (Different class must be used on every round you win for the entire match.)

No Need For That :: 50 Energy + 2 Points per tier, (additional 200 Energy + 3 Points if both Trinkets are removed while defense is reduced)
Win the match without using trinket slots or by reducing your defensive gear (Armor and Helmet) to a lower tier
e.g. Tier 1 = 0 star to 1 star gear / Tier 2 = 2 star to 3 star gear

Unstoppable :: 500 Energy + 7 Points!
Reach 45 points in the first week.

Wanted :: 50 Energy + Triple Points per consecutive win!
Enter the Wanted list. Fighters in Wanted list can not refuse a battle.
Both Energy and Point rewards can be re-obtained if you re-enter the Wanted list after being knocked off.

Challenger! :: 300 Energy + 5 Points!
Defeat a Challenger. New challenger will be chosen and posted above every 3 days.
Specific conditions must be met to battle a Challenger and winning conditions may apply.
Challengers can not refuse a battle.

Purge :: 400 Energy + 10 Points!
Defeat someone from the Wanted list.

Collector :: 500 Energy + 10 Points!
Unlock all titles!
