Let that sink in for a moment... The "noble" spiral knights have been testing their bombs, swords and guns on innocent animals all this time. What do the GMs have to say about this?
So you're saying the Shuffle Bots in the training room (which are defined by in-game damage bonuses as constructs) are designed like Eggman(/Robotnik)'s robots? That might explain the Tails Tails and the Metal Sonic suit...
That said, there isn't any provable evidence that there are animals inside the constructs, and considering their archaic-looking design there's probably no room to fit an animal inside.
I'm not saying there's animals inside them, I'm saying they are animals, just like you and me

Since they are training bots, they are probably programmed to act as animals. Hence, they simulate sleep. ~Z
