Unless I'm the vicitim of a cruel hoax, there is now a trinket, Somnambulist's Totem, that grants MSI+1. With two of these, Black Kat armor, and the Swift Steps II perk, it is now theoretically possible to achieve MSI+6. As a miserly MSI junkie, I'm fascinated.

Has anyone played with MSI+6? Or even +5? Did it transform your life? White-sniped avatar, I'm looking in your direction.

Hmm...

The categories in the ASI, CTR, & MSI are as follows...

Low (+1)
Medium (+2)
High (+3)
Very High (+4)
Ultra (+5)
Maximum! (+6)

If someone somehow managed to get either one in said category to +7 (???), it'd be way over the top, though, the GUI can only see the +6 as the maximum, presently.

You're not the victim of a known or unknown hoax, not that we've heard of such a one.

I, too, would like to know this (and record sprint times etc).

Unfortunately, Fehzor hasn't gotten one to my knowledge.

Bernston, it's not possible to exceed +6 in MSI right now. So that's not a consideration.

Perhaps it will become possible in the future. Then, yes, I'll want to verify that MSI is capped like every other offensive ability.

Ask My-Little-Yoshi, who actually bought the things. I would like to pick them up, but am walled off by the slime casino.

It would be nice to say more about how I feel regarding this walling off.

New rare MSI

New rare MSI trinket...
Hidden behind time sensitive Slime Casino...
Hidden behind probability of getting a slime lock box...
Hidden behind the probability of getting the correct box...
Hidden behind the probability of unlocking the trinket instead of something else...
Hidden behind people who may not want to sell it/ extortion.

What kinda game is this again?

I dunno man, still busy trying to get that object that's hidden behind an event, a low chance of the monster that drops it appearing, and a low chance of it dropping.

i dunno

For some reason I've managed to pull a good number of books of dark rituals from the remains of kats this event for god knows what reason.

So I went ahead and did the only logical thing I could do with one.

As for the MSI trinket I opened a good number of boxes and only pulled a dawn bracelet for all trinkets. I will say I like the idea of making this sort of thing be behind a free lockbox that can be farmed rather than a promotional box that can only be purchased with real money, as it actually makes the items require a game time investment even if it's rather boring. I just hope the trinkets stay in the boxes in the future, or at least have some way to get them again. From the looks of it, the old node field aura isn't coming back anytime soon, but hopefully

I like the direction the devs are going with these new trinkets (status + other bonuses). With pet perks giving a High status resist, there was basically no reason to use the old Brinks trinkets.

@Bopp

This isn't a good race because the baseline runner 1. stops midway through and 2. doesn't run until after the MSI+6 starts but you might be able to get an idea of the speed, maybe?

thanks

Thanks. If I get around to it, maybe I'll measure the time in that video and compare it to times at +4.

Anyway, I'm glad to know that there are players out there using more MSI than me. It makes me want more MSI.
