I was wondering if anyone knows why this was taken off the iOS & Android Store. Was it because it was involved with SEGA?
And if it's possible, is there any way to download it?

That's a shame, really wanted to try it out.
Is/Was there any important lore information within the game? I see that a Knight has a unique appearance.
Yeah, kinda. There is this:
>> "Rise of Knights and Spiral Knights are set in the same universe. However, Rise of Knights is not a sequel to Spiral Knights." [1]
And the prologue:

>man that's depressing, i would like to see how a spiral knights mobile game would turn ou...
>wait... a mobile game, eh, i guess it would turn out like every other mobile game, except
>unique
>why doesn't the identity knight thing ever work for me
>jeez
We already know Rise of Knights was closed down, so, why keep repeating this?
The game kinda had very small depth on the lore, meaning it lacked exposition, interest, & coherency with Spiral Knight's events.
The game's story, well, it's not accurate on SK's story's events. Master Greywell said "Our world was smashed in the great cataclysm.", but, that doesn't make sense! They still have their homeworld, Isora, which we know is still in peril due to the Morai Wars, so there's no cataclysm that shattered their world, nor Cradle.
We all know the Spiral Knights crash-landed on Cradle, a world made with cobbled up pieces of many distant worlds some don't even know yet. You can see by the planets' terrains shaped into some chunk-like fragments. King Tinkinzar was involved in the Clockworks' creation when Cradle began to form.
1 more thing, if GH manages to salvage some unique content remaining from Rise of Knights, like, some characters, one being Master Greywell, then, they'd reuse them in some form to save up development time, like, giving him a different role a bit like how he should have in that game. They could do that, you know.
To everyone, it was already over. That wouldn't work well being a mobile game, anyway... 'cause, you know, many mobile games always prompt a lotta people to buy pointless things they don't need in them just to get them even more hooked than ever, like packs of in-game items, some steep subscription prices,

I was answering the OP's question, friendo. If you don't like the topic/question, stay out of it. You can drop the pointless over-defensive attitude, it doesn't work with me, lol. I'm not here to debate the game/GH's status nor do I care about that; I have my own garbage to worry about now.
And, psst, that comment is over 4 months old. For someone who doesn't like to bring up old stuff, you sure do like to bring up old stuff. :^)
>>The game's story, well, it's not accurate on SK's story's events.
I'm not sure why you're directing this to me, but if you want my opinion on the matter, I feel as though Rise of Knights was simply a spin off.
Yeah. I thought so. I thought some things and events in the game didn't link well with SK's events. Sorry that I keep bringing some things up.
So, I'll post something else and leave this post to rest. We all got our own garbage to worry about, too.
It was shut down in 2015, here's proof: http://imgur.com/yi6TNhG
We had a thread about it here: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/111080
RIP, Rise of Knights— that one snipe that never really learned to fly. :'(
(by the hey, why is this in gremlin chatter? it should totally be in general discussion. Rise of Knights is definitely SK related)
