I have an Acheron, Combuster, Blitz Needle, and the standard Azure Guardian armor and helm. I feel like I should focus on getting a new set of armor/helmet and Divine hood and cloak look good for defense but I also want to go for barbarous thorn blade, the Antigua guns (Peacemaker and Griffin are specifically desired for the fast spookats and fiends), and nitronome/Briar Barrage. But I don't know if I should vary up my arsenal of armors and helms for more situations or I should get some other weapons for those enemies I have trouble with. Also I have a Drakon for a battle sprite
What should I go for?

First, you might consult my sword guide and my armor guide. But I am planning a major overhaul of my sword guide.
Acheron, Combuster, and Blitz Needle are good.
I would skip Barbarous Thorn Blade (and Final Flourish) and go straight for Dark Briar Barrage. DBB is just so safe and effective against crowds of fiends (and beasts).
Nitronome is sometimes useful, but it's far from essential. Make it a low priority.
The Antigua-line guns are some of my least-favorite weapons in the game. They are not especially powerful, they require lots of tedious clicking, and the charge attacks are only rarely useful. DBB is much better against fiends. If you want more guns, try the Magnus-line guns or alchemers (drivers). Those lines are both powerful and fun.
Now we come to your armor, which is unfortunate. You are trying to be highly defensive, in a game that doesn't reward defense. See my armor guide. Do you have 70 Ancient Pages from the recent Kataclysmic Confrontation? If so, get the 3-star Black Kat hood now. Work toward Chaos Cloak, while you figure out the rest of your armor plan.
You haven't mentioned your shield. The short version is: Barbarous Thorn Shield, Swiftstrike Buckler, maybe Grey Owlite, maybe Dread Skelly.

Bopp has said almost everything that needs to be said, but I would really reccomend getting a blaster.
The guns lines that Bopp reccomended are good, but mainly focuses on charge attacks (though if you can single switch, you can ignore this).
I really reccomend blasters because they are really easy to run-and-gun with (of course you can run-and-gun with alchemers too, but I think blasters are quicker)
I would reccomend getting either arcana or riftlocker.
For a shadow gun, Iwould reccomend Dark Chaingun (Shadow ver. of blitz) for no monsters weak to shadow can dodge as quick as devillites or fiends.
But acheron is enough and I would get a blaster first as a quick gun.
As for armor, I think Bopp's forgotten about status.
If you're the type of person who keeps running into fires during vana, it might be good to get a vog coat or something with fire res. (take a look at wiki for more)
But if you're fine and can handle fire, then go ahead and as Bopp said work towards making chaos.
Just don't forget that catching a fire wearing a chaos set keeps the fire burning for 8 seconds.
Also the same for almost all the other status too.
In return, you get a CTR High on all weapons. That's definitely a plus XD

Yes, status is the single most important defensive consideration in armor. I just left all of the detailed explanation to my armor guide.

Yes, Blaster-line guns are faster to fire than alchemers. And they're much easier than alchemers, and they have some pleasant knockback. And they're not as tedious as Antigua-line guns. I would still recommend alchemers or Magnus-line guns, but Blaster-line guns are not a terrible choice.
I think that the original poster wants us to prioritize for her/him. Based on what she/he has said, I would prioritize DBB and some kind of armor, whether it be glass cannon or sworder or gunner or bomber.

Alright
For armor I'll go for Vog set
For Shield I'll go for Barbarons thorn shield
For Guns I'll go for Arcana for those pesky little spookats I have trouble hitting with Combuster.
For bombs I'll go for DBB
For Sword I'm good but after all this Barbarous thorn blade
I think I might prioritize Vog set since that bonus is good and fire resistance is noice. Then I'll go for DBB and then Arcana. Seems good to me.
If you havever more advice be sure to tell me. For me, I have trouble hitting Wolvers, Spookats, and Devilites the most because I mainly use swords. Also I sometimes get reckless and attack when I should've dodged or shielded. Also I shield to block dmg more than moving away. I want to play lockdown but there's too few people to get into a match so I mostly ignored it.

DBB
DBB will solve your problems with devilites and wolvers. For spookats I would stick with Combuster. I don't know what you're going to use Arcana on, but okay.
Vog Cub armor will work well for you. Good choice. But don't forget to get the 3-star Black Kat helmet whenever you can. Eventually you will need less defense than you do now, and the pairing of a Black Kat helmet with Vog Cub Coat will provide a good balance of offense and defense.

As blitz needle is quite strong by itself and your other two swords are good choices, I would recommend that you make a sword-based armour next. Skolver will give you a fantastic damage boost, while vog will give you nice defences and attack speed increase to help you stay safe.
The barborous thorn blade is a good piercing sword, it is useful against fiends.
Antigua guns however are fairly weak. They are not very good for devillites due to their low damage (You will not hit the devillites with all 6 shots due to how fast they dodge, unless you're an extremely good shot with minimal network lag).
Blitz needle is still quite good for devillites due to the wide spread on the charge.
Nitronome and DBB are fantastic bombs but they will most likely require you to make bomber-specific armour.
