What are your opinions on Danger Rooms? Do you feel like the risk you take from doing them is worth the reward you may get?
Danger Rooms: Worth It?
Easy cash.
Only time it's not worth it is if you're low on health, Caps, or Remedies - and if you play well, that should never be the case.
Even if you die, you can always call someone in to help out.
Now, if you're running with a group you're unfamiliar with, or have one weak link in a party of four, don't bother - it'll probably wind up in a wipe.
Determine on skill of player and or group it self if group is good and or a player he can make slight profit in it i make about 2-4k in tier 1 run i can handle a bit tier 2 solo and expect the type of foes you faced shadow and periceing damage are good for now and update could change that is need for a danger room and it is worth it if have few spare me you not even going to use and your good enough handle it. + few tk are okey usallay get forage spark from them aleast 2 tk from my exp. also need be prepare for electric and fire they can be pain
Always worth it - only thing comparable to jk runs in cash and heat.
They are great if you don't get wiped.
You get a massive amount of heat and crowns for clearing out a danger room, so it is worth it. BUT, you can't die. If you die once in a danger room then you break even. Die twice and it's no longer worth it.
Is it worth it? Two major questions to ask yourself beforehand:
1. Are you running on only mist energy (and have all day to spend the 100 you've got per day)?
2. Are you going to not die?
If you answer yes to both, the danger rooms are 100% worth it. If you answer no to either, then it's debatable. I find that you get the most crowns from just doing later levels in a tier. What you do in the level doesn't tend to matter much, although clearing the 3-stage arena levels late in a tier are usually pretty good.
Definitly worth it if you know you can survive, so have a good idea of what you can manage.
Did someone bring bombs? Then sure.
Nobody? Then I'll pass.
I have a Master Blast bomb that does very good damage to groups of enemies with its very large blast range, but I tend to avoid danger rooms because of the enemy amounts are overwhelming and the lag is becoming unbearable. I have trouble charging up a single bomb without an enemy abusing a larger hitbox due to lag and hitting me halfway across the room.
And do not get me started on the mecha knights.
They are generally not worth it in teir 3 shock strata unless you have good shock resistant shields.
If you don't die, totally worth it. Is it worth the time spent? Not sure, depends on if you value your time. I could do multiple jelly palace runs in less time and more profit.
Danger room layouts bore me more than repeating jelly palace. Devs have said they are going to add more danger room layouts though, maybe even remove the current ones. We'll see if that makes them more appealing.
