I like this game. I like spending money on games. The art is great, the community is great -- but I just can't bring myself to launch it anymore these days because of that first word in the title.

How hard would it be for the Game Masters to say that they're doing fine? To confirm that Grey Havens is stable? To give even the smallest hint that putting hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars into their game isn't going to be for naught when it shuts down in a week? In the absence of communication and in light of recent events I find it very hard to be optimistic about the future of SK.

I can't be the only one who thinks this. Maybe if they did frequent events, showed pictures of the office/projects they're working on, ect. it would breathe a little life into the community and inspire undecided users like me to join in.

I think you should protest with your wallet, one of the biggest contributor to GH's never ending prize boxes might be the people who constantly eat it up. If the whales boybott SK, you can bet GH will start making content.

Time for loving persuasion is over, time to crack the whip.

except for those 2 times, buying OCH and the blast network promo with the shiny bomb costume.

and they DO listen, the pirate promo was a player idea.

They even don't make community contests, as it was before. Do you member halloween contest. Also many players say that GH is small team and don't expect too much, but only 1 artist do some work, few cosumes per month are all that they can do.

If GH suddenly start acting

If GH suddenly start acting like Digital Extreemes (Warframe devs), this game will get out of misery.

I mean, SK is relatively easy to build new content for. No need for motion capture or voice actors...Hell, even weapons can be fully made in like...2 hours at max. By a single man.
Small team or not....I dont believe that it takes that long to analyze forum a bit (there are tons of good solutions to current problems) and come up with something to make people happier.

AFAIK promos exist to get cash for update building... Okay, i see lots of people buy this stuff....so where are our balanced fire crystal drops? Why end of mission reward boxes still drop Vitapods and Vials right before elevator to haven? Still no Bomber update or whatever it was...

I dont wanna accept it but i think its the most reasonable explanation.The devs think that the game cant make a comeback.

All these months what we have got?Many promos(like with Sega era nothing different)and few updates that mostly existed from before(sleep update).
When they finally update,the update is small and nothing that will give breath to the game,like a new boss or whatever.Its just an update to tell us here we are,we updated..

Maybe this game lack funds and even if they want,GH cant risk time and money to create new content.I am positive that if they had something on their mind they would tell us,I am positive that most of old players would made patience and wait even if its 3 months later or so..We dont hear anything,just updating behind the scenes and in the end its a lockdown stage or slime casino(when ld is pretty empty in comparison with the past).I dont wanna sound ungrateful but those updates will not attract players..Its not something that helps to develop the game or renew the interest of old players..All games make their cycle.This game might not have anything significant to give back to players.Enjoy the game as it is,dont rage,it doesnt help eitherway.I wish that i am false because I love this game but all evidences lead us to make that assumption.

You can give the individual Game Masters pings on Twitter if you're wanting a short response that amounts to "Spiral Knights is doing okay and will stay up as long as we can run it". May take a few days but they're relatively active on over there and mostly pop in on the forums to clear up confusion rather than halt discussion.
