increase radiant crystals drop rate

i know you made a mission to farm them, but new players are just too bad to do it or dont have the gear yet

if heating is a pain in the ass, takes forever, and lockdown is completely unbalanced and not enjoyable at all, people that dont like to stand in haven for hours are done with the game very soon.

this is because people would patiently farm if they could do something thanks to it later on, which is not the case since they're gonna try lockdown and get depressed.

increasing radiant crystals drop rate -> people that have fun in PvE (i dont understand why they do) keep playing the game to try new stuff or they just wanna collect things, maybe some regret about heating something that wasnt useful at all in lockdown but now there's nothing they can do because it takes 18 years and a half to heat new things, get what i meant?

if anyone wants to add something else hi

Yes and no. More radiant farming locations would be great if they weren't limited to certain missions. However, people playing and enjoying the arcade is the base that the game is built upon, and the fact that you need to run through there for radiants is a no-brainer. The slow radiant fire crystal progression system is, actually, pretty smart since it keeps players coming back to keep working on their gear. They're never quite "finished" with their gear, since they always have another thing to heat until the day they become content - and from that day forwards, crafting and new sudden gear will go much faster after they've accumulated many more resources.

Farming for radiants, however, is boring. That's pretty plain and simple - it's not fun to do it, and the best places to do it are too challenging for the exact people who need them most. I know the arcade exists for this purpose, but expanding the arcade to include an infinite arena in the core that drops items from all strata (flawed orbs up to eternals, cracked orbs up to radiant, shock vials to ultra shock vials) would be a nice addition for end-game players, and in general fun as you take on the game in an endless mode that engaging and entertaining as you never have to walk through corridors for loot - it's all just the good ol' fighting action.

More opportunities and locations for radiants is a better solution than making them drop more. Granted, having them drop at depth 24 and later would be great, or making shinings stop dropping at depth 27 and later would be a good fix too, but those address the immediate problem rather than the long-term problem.

An infinite arena sounds

An infinite arena sounds really cool, if not overpowered for farming on the current system. Maybe it just doesn't drop crowns and/or each area is locked by an energy gate? Either way, an arena like the ones on the gauntlet mission, where you have different kinds of enemies or status each level, would be so cool.

somewhat

In my vision you would have randomized waves in a single room, and after every few waves treasure boxes would spawn back at the entrance of the level which doubles as an exit. Perhaps after passing so many waves you could proceed to the next depth, allowing enemies to get stronger and perhaps increasing box spawn rewards.

Crown drops should still be happening, but I'd imagine you'd have regular enemies mixed in with swarm enemies, meaning you can tone down the loot drop rate overall.
