Earlier today I was doing Apocrea event with guildmates. It was going smoothly until I got to the plateau. When I got there, I found some graves shot at them and then.. The game crashed. It took me by surprise so I loaded the game back up, I spawned back at the plateau and then less than 10 seconds later it crashes a second time. I came back and it crashed a third time in which I noticed I took damage since I spawned with full health originally. Then it crashed a fourth time after I came back seeing that I was dead. I went back and quickly tried to go back to Haven before it could crash a fifth time.

Tl:dr The game crashed 4 time at the plateau so I left the mission. I told my guild about it afterwards.
Anyone else experienced this?

1.Install 64bit Java from

1.Install 64bit Java from here https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
1.1 (for Steam) If you have Steam version, go to Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_151 and copy everything to Spiral Knights\java_vm
2. Create extra.txt in game folder and add "-d64 -Xms1G -Xmx4G" (without "")

So you can allocate more memory to the game.

If you run the standalone and have this issue, change the following:

  1. Find your SK shortcut
  2. Change the target from
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_151\bin\javaw.exe" -jar getdown-pro.jar .
    to
    "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_151\bin\javaw.exe" -jar getdown-pro.jar .
  3. NOTE: this is assuming you are on Java 8 update 151. Your actual folder names may change, but the important part is changing "C:\Program Files (x86)" to "C:\Program Files".

Your actual shortcuts may vary, and you may need to change them after every java update, but you can run your game in 64bit from the standalone this way, or at least I have on my Windows 10 machine.
