So I made a post on the subreddit of Spiral Knights thanking all those "whales" who buy every promo and keeping the game afloat throughout all these years. (linky link > https://www.reddit.com/r/spiral_knights/comments/7ke9x3/can_we_have_a_sh... )

and it got me thinking, it's been a while since I bought anything in Spiral Knights. Probably 2-3 years and since Grey Haven just got a hold of Spiral Knights maybe we should give them a little contribution as present?

If we all chip in a little 5-10$ then it's gonna give a nice boost for Grey Haven. It's the holidays for everybody, even companies have employee who have to take time off.

So yeah, the game stood afloat thanks to them, not because of all those F2P people that love to claim it. If you do enjoy Spiral Knights and want it to keep living, you should consider donating/buying something once in a while.

I'm way overdue and I'm gonna chip in a little 10 or 20$ this time around.

Who's with me?

good

It's a nice idea.

Soon after Grey Havens took control, I went out of my way to spend some money on the game. I bought energy, even though I had little use for it.

There is also the pure capitalist viewpoint, that players should spend money only when they receive value. By doing so, they send a signal to Grey Havens about what they really want. I also respect that viewpoint on Spiral Knights.

yup

I buy into Spiral Knights when I see them make decisions that I agree with and enjoy, but take a step further and let 'em know I like it via social media and all that.

I wouldn't recommend buying into SK because you feel like you have to, but if you have hundreds of hours spend on a game it may be worthwhile to consider throwing some money at it because you clearly enjoyed yourself. If you don't have the money to do so that's fine, but there's no harm in it.
