The question is already said easily in the title, but I'm curious what other weapons I need to get in order to be able to complete FSC, so far I have...
Chaos cloak and cowl level 1
Glacius level 8
Strike needle level 10
Storm driver level 5
No trinkets
So what else should I get to complete it? I'm curious if I need more or to just get better
Your gear is good as IMO, a Glacius and Strike Needle are all you need. At this point, just run FSC a few times until you get used to running it.
Alot of the older players were doing vana when we were at 3-4 star weapons, it's all about skill level, keep practicing it, it'll get alot easier
The better question is "why would you want to do vana"?
If you need help farming vana, then farming vana is going to be much less efficient than farming elsewhere.
If you need to do it simply to finish the missions, you're going to hit a wall on the missions right after it... which are harder and fewer people willing to assist.
I run with the same gear full heated..Your weapons are very good,but chaos is a little hard to master it.I dont know how good or talented player you are but catching fire in Vana will cost you a lot of health and probably will kill you,especially with no trinkets.If you have mastered chaos armor,means you can dodgeso probably you would be ok.Maybe a shield will help you if you cant dodge.For newbies in Vana i would suggest other armor,until you get accustomed with the levels and the motions of your opponents.My guess is that you ll fail a lot in the beginning if you cant dodge,but in that way you ll train urself in dodging.So you have 2 options first to train urself in one of the best gears(chaos)so be prepared to die a lot and second to go with a safer armor with fire res that will keep you alive.In the end you ll play with chaos but if u cant handle the fail go easy first.
Yes, an expert player with that equipment can definitely solo Vanaduke. So keep practicing, while you try to heat that Glacius and Storm Driver. Or save your Radiants so that you can heat Blitz Needle.
If you find yourself burning to death, it's because you've chosen highly fire-vulnerable armor. Eventually it will pay off, but in the short term it might be frustrating. Be patient with yourself.
It's a combination of the two really, and there will always be room for improvement on both sides. Given your gear I'd say skill and practice have more room to grow and that's fine-- go with friends and you'll get better in no time.
