Hello everyone! If this is supposed to go into Bug Reports, tell me and I'll move this thread!

Well, as you know, the most popular sprite perk amongst players right now is of course Swift Steps II. We all know what it does, so never mind that.
However, what I wanted to say is that the icon for that particular skill (both the I and II version since they use the same icon) is uhh not perfectly done.
For other players, the icon file is in rsrc\ui\icon\skill\pet\perks. The white corners are not turned into alpha channels, unlike other perks. This is probably one of the most minor things, but it does bother me. Other players probably don't realize this as they have it equipped all the times (the white edges get covered by the golden/yellow box that indicate the perk is chosen).

Please fix this Grey Havens! It is just a simple task using any image editor that is a bit better than paint.

the mods'll probably move it, but this does sound like a bug.

Interesting, so the icon is a JPEG in the files but is made to be unnoticeable in the game? That's an odd way of doing it.
but yeah, i agree. uniformity in slot-based icons is a good thing. white borders plagued me in my photoediting for a couple years till i found a good eraser app.

It might help if you used the Print Screen button on the offending files, cropped the image in paint/etc, and uploaded it to imgur and then here so the mods can see exactly what's going on.

Hmm... the icon files are in PNG in my folder, thought transparency was not possible in JPEG.

By the way, I did get the screenshots taken. How come I didn't think of this... thanks for telling me xD

Notice how the equipped indicator makes the white less evident.

oh that's interesting. It's so well-hidden that you wouldn't even think something was wrong.
Good eye, tuck.
also, yeah you're right: since when did jpeg support transparency? This goes deeper than I thought. +1 on this suggestion/bug

Bump

Was hoping that it would get fixed during the most recent update. Please look into this issue Grey Havens! :)
