I have heard people talking about these love puppies, and once, I saw a gun puppy with a heart thing on it, and I thought this was 1. Sadly, my party killed it instantly before it could even shoot. Does it shoot hearts? What the heck does it do?

That was a love puppy.

Yes, it shoots hearts (heals you). If there was a heart on its mouth, then that was it.

Also has a rare chance of dropping a certain trinket line.
