I'd love to see an event where some of the first events were brought back similar to how we can get random event crates through this current Anniversary Event.

It just doesn't seem fair that some item sets, mainly the first run of Battle Chef Coats and Tabards, were only ever sent out once or twice and that the second wave's designs paled in comparison to the first run. (Neon and checkerboards *shudders
*) It's also a little frustrating that to get some of these fabled items you need to give an arm and a leg to have them. Their prices are wildly inflated.

I suggest that at some point and time those original sets come back in an event similar to this current Anniversary event. Or as I like to call it "Boxes of Boxes: What did you get? Another Box?!"

Yeah it sucks that some things seemingly never come back.

I wish the Frenzy, Rage and Stormy Prize Boxes as well as the Blooming, Budding, Blazing, Electric and Spritely Prize Boxes would come back like every 2 or 3 years. AFAIK Stormy and Frenzy were 4 and 5 years ago. Thats a long time. I think new players should also get a chance to take part in such an event.

I think that a large part of prize boxes and promotions is the idea that you can only get them that one time and never again. Silver as a personal colour is kind of ugly and off-putting, like your knight has no soul left in them, yet about a fifth of the knights that hang around haven paid a lot to get it and use it as their normal coloration.

This is because the game isn't meant to be fair. The game is meant to make money. Hence, it is largely a playground for your money, where the free to play are left to the sidelines watching. IF you don't have the money invested that is your purpose. To watch other people pay to be "better than you".

It is not unfair if you can get something only once.

Silver is an okay color. It looks weird, but it depends on the other things you wear, if it looks good for somone.

The game is fair and is meant to be fair. All the things you can get are well balanced.

The non-paying players are not left to the sidelines. They are an important part of the game and some of them later become paying players.

Finally, you can't pay to be "better than others". If people pay, they usually do it, because they want to take their game of dress up or their weapons collection to the next level, which is usually entirely to please their own tastes and desires. I think only a small fraction actually intends to change their look to please others or to recieve positive feedback from others.

However, if prize boxes never return, it means the number of their items in the wild decreases over time until it reaches zero. (Especially with costumes, which cannot be unbound.) At that point no further money will be spent to get such an item, simply because there is none available to be bought. Therefore it makes sense to restart the cycle and throw in some more of those items, specifically because the work to design and implement those items into the game has already been done. It pays back dopuble: Less effort, but new profits from new players who didn't have the chance to buy the promo back in the day. Also, having seen the item in use by other players, the item will already be popular with some potential customers right from the start.

I enjoy this idea and I've always wanted to get my hands at silver and if this happens I might just be able too.
I've always wanted to look blank compared to how colorful everyone else was.
And as a person who wants to put money into the game, the stuff I want to get like the rage set is really fucking old and my chances of getting it are zilch.

I've been wishing that we could get old prize boxes back again, but in the form of surprise boxes to allow old rare items to remain rare while still having an opportunity to get them again. For example, have a surprise box from 2015 be available for purchase to allow players to have a shot at pulling them up again. Have every year's surprise box be available on the supply depot every weekend, or as a separate rotating event much like the slime casino. Alternatively, have slime casinos give slime surprise lockboxes that will grant a player a random surprise box inside, which will in turn open into a box from that surprise box, which will have the same chances for the items inside from there.

Basically, having surprise boxes be available more often allows players to feel like they can get those old rare items, and when something of that sort is pulled it's a good thing for the game economy, but since it's so rare to get that specific item it won't upset the economy too much. Additionally it creates a massive crown sink, which is always a good thing for this game to have.
