Yet another suggestion on the tortoguns... Can the bullets not trigger the dodging/shielding behaviour for monsters? The mixer-style weapons already have that feature and the tortoguns' normal attack needs a buff, sure the buff on the charge was nice, but it hadn't resolved everything wrong with it. We can stop complaining about how the mixer-style weapons are nearly unobtainable unless you're a paying player if this was to be implanted in the game. This won't be game-breaking simply because they'll still be decently dangerous to use against those specific monsters like mecha knights and devilites, this will mainly make the beast and gremlin families a bit easier to deal with, and especially wolvers and menders. After all, tortoguns are unique weapons that shouldn't act like normal guns and they have a pretty steep learning-curve as well, so this is a well-deserved buff. Discuss in the comments.
Tortoguns shouldn't provoke monster dodging/shielding behaviour (like mixer-style weapons)
Why not both? The normal attack and the charge. :3 (same for the tortoguns charge)
why not, and it does need a buff because the attack really functions more like a sword then a gun.
Actually... Not quite... It functions like a sword and a gun but the gun part in it is more since most damage comes from its ranged crystals and the punch itself doesn't do that much damage. Its the opposite for the Winmillion, which is why the Winmillion is a sword and the tortoguns are, well... Guns! (Duhhh!) The reason behind this suggestion isn't that they don't function as guns but because they're lacking due to being a gun. (because monsters dodge/shield the projectiles)
This is more of a situation with how the mixer works and is broken rather than a standard for projectiles. There reason mixer bullets don't makes enemies react is because, on a technical level, there is no projectile. It's an invisible entity surrounded by two orbiting barrier projectiles. The entity really ought to be classified as a projectile with a tag, but the tortofist is fine where it stands.
It works as intended and it's good as it is. All weapons are well balanced and so is the mixer. It has some drawbacks, that compensate for benefits like monsters not dodging/shielding the uncharged shot and being able to shoot up stairs and ramps. Its like fiends not dodging an uncharged callahan shot if you would hit.
This should also be done for the Winmillion normal (as in non-charge) attack projectile.
