Bomber Update

In this new update, bombers have a lot of new tricks, weapons, and armor to make them more powerful and viable in the fight in the clockworks.

New Mechanics

--Bomb Storage--

Bombers now have a couple of new things they can do with bombs to make themselves more effective with their current arsenal. Bombers can now store bombs as a item in their vials hotbar. Simply shield, after fully charging a bomb and it will be stored as an item.
You can then use the bomb later without having to charge it up. Allowing bombers to pull off really fun combos. Bombs take up 2 slots in the hotbar and cannot be stacked. So you can only store 2 bombs at once. With this new function you can prepare a few bombs before jumping into an arena and immediately plop them down for maximum effectiveness.

--Attack Speed--

Attack speed increase can now be rolled on bombs and will reduce the fuse time of all bombs.
ASI will decrease placement time for heavy Deconstructor and remote bomb lines.

Weapon Changes

Heavy Deconstructor - This weapon has been reworked to function like a demo gremlins bomb. When you click you will plop down the bomb with a small radius, quick fuse time, and low damage. However, you can place these at a fast rate allowing for lots of potential combos and chaos(not recommended for parties!). It's charge attack will throw a cluster of 5 bombs at your cursor with increased damage and radius, just like the demo gremlin.

New Weapons

Cluster Bomb Line - At 5*, Upon detonation, these bombs release 5 explosions in each cardinal direction, basically the blast network bomb. Recipes from HoH.

Remote Bomb Line - Normal attack places the bomb, charge attack detonates them, this is the catalyzer for bombers. 2* weapon from twins, recipes from Basil. Bombs automatically detonate after 20 seconds.

Light Bomb Line - Upon detonation releases 8 piercing bullets in 8 directions. Similar to the old shard bombs. Recipes are from HoH.

New Armors

Maniac Set - Grants Medium Damage Bonus, Medium ASI, and Medium Charge Time for all bombs. Resistant to Freeze and Stun. Weak to fire. Grants Shadow Defense. For people who want all around good stats.

Bombalicious Set - Grants Very High ASI and Very High Damage Bonus for all bombs. Resistant to Shock and Stun. Weak to freeze. Grants Elemental defense. For people who want quick damage.

Kaboomist Set - Grants Very High ASI and Very High Charge Time for all bombs. Resistant to Fire and Stun. Weak to shock.
Grants Piercing defense. For people who want their bombs to blow as soon as possible.

Big Bomb Set - Grants ASI DECREASED very high and Very High Damage Bonus for all bombs. Resistant to Poison and Stun. Weak to sleep. Grants Shadow defense. For people who want their bomb to detonate later so they have more time to set up.

i ignored everything but the bomb storage idea, i like that.

instead of bombs not being able to stack. instead i think it should be that you charge bombs to prime them and you can only carry three at a time in one slot, like any other item. then, you set them and they function like normal.

I'm totally over the idea of storing already charged bombs. This can be the game changer especially if it's 2-4 bombs. Maybe a stat that can be put on armor sets to determine the number of charged bombs you can store? Either way, I suggest it to be 2 bombs by default FOR EACH SLOT. I see it like... You charge the bomb then press a button while holding the charge to put it away then use that same button to bring it back when you are using the same slot as the bomb you already charged. Storing up to 2 charged bombs per slot can be VERY VERY useful, and would make them balanced compared to swords and guns. I also see this as the ultimate suggestion to balance damaging bombs in LD. Despite having been a pure LD bomber for a while, I still have difficulties in doing damage, sometimes I get 8k, sometimes I get 2k. They're currently pretty weak, I mean... Have you ever seen someone break 20k damage in LD? (in a fair match, stay away zeddy) No? Me neither. Now comes that one person that's gonna say: "but bombs arent supposed to farm damage and you're supposed to cap as a bomber". NO, it's not only that, but also it becomes EXTREMELY HARD to charge a bomb when literally everyone on the opposite team is spamming antiguas, blasters, pulsars and alchemer charges at your sorry butt. This won't only make bombs stronger as a weapon but will also compete with the sword/gun meta.
