Tournament has started.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, i'm bored and would like to create a 1v1 tournament.

--------------How to join--------------
Send a mail to me (Rekole) or post here saying that you would like to join with your ign and sever and I will put you down as an participate.
NO ENTRY FEE NEEDED

--------------Judges--------------
If you would like to be a judge mail me in game or post here. You must be able to record. You can take part in the tournament, but you cannot judge your own matches.

Judges:

--------------Tournament Rules:--------------

No Auto-Target.
Striker class is banned.
Recording is optional.
Same main server fights play til one has at least a total of 5 kills and 2 more than the other (For example: 5-3 = win, 5-4 = not done, 6-4 = win.).
EU player vs US player, play twice one on each server. Best 5 out of 9 on each server.
If participates cannot decide which server first, then do first to three of rock, paper, scissor. Winner decides which server.
There needs to be a judge that can record each match to be valid.
Judges must inspect both participates before the match starts and when they change loadouts.
Full Black Kat and Chaos set are banned.
You can only wear one part of Black Kat or Chaos set but cannot mix it with something that gives dmg bonus, besides bombs and dmg trinkets (For example: BK+Snarby not allowed, BK+Justifier Jacket allowed).
All Shock and Ice guns that inflict status on hit are banned (Hail Drivers, Storm Drivers etc).
Elemental, Shadow and Pierce blaster line guns are banned.
Pulsar line guns are banned.
Mixmaster and Celestial orbitgun are banned.
All Mist line bombs are banned (Freezing/Fiery Vaporizer etc).
You are allowed two trinkets.
Guardians can only use one hp trinket.
Guardians can only use one gun, if you would like to use two or more you must go recon.
You cannot heal with anything besides your own guardian shield.
Icebox is prohibited to play on.
No running and no going out of bounds. If the judge feels like you are going out of bound too much, you lose that round.
Tied kill does not count as point

Too many rules...

Dude I'm totally down for a 1v1 tournament. The major problem here is that you put up way too many rules, and thus it will be way too confusing to play and to judge. I understand what you're going for here, but there's way too many rules and because of it, nobody will want to join. It is a really fun idea though that I'm sure people will look forward to once it's a bit more polished, and I'd be totally down to help you set it up.

In my opinion, I think there are enough rules for this tournament to manage with as a judge and a participate. Most of the rules are just general tournament rules you seen in SK and balancing issues rules. Most players will understand this (hopefully). There are tournaments in the past that have slightly more rules than this and people manged to still cooperate with them. The only rule I see why people might not play is, because the striker class is banned.

Why are two mist bombs banned

Why are two mist bombs banned and the rest allowed?

I'm aware sleep bomb is broken considering not everyone has sleep res sets but not everyone has shock, fire, poison, stun etc res sets either. If you are gonna ban two of them you should ban all of them instead or no one, imo

The reason why the other mist bombs are allowed is that, you cannot be killed in one brandish charge since you have the chance to move about if you get inflicted by them. I think I get were your coming from, you do not want people to camp with them as a guardian because it is the only class that allows you to heal and could probably cause some problems. If other people feel the same as you then i do not mind banning all the mist bombs.

Everyone should, but AT corrects a swing or a shoot up to 45° degrees depending on how badly you missed. You can easily tell the hit was corrected if it's a striker or a guard because you see where they were arming before they landed the swing, can't see if it's a recon that's using the cloak.

If you want to know my opinion, every single person should be recording no matter the class. Just like in every tournament we've organized in the past. You never can be really sure

Gonna add something else as well even though I know it isn't gonna be changed.

Guardians can't run away because of the rules, they're condemned to get the recon mark 100% of the times. That makes recons have more hp than the class that's supposed to be tanky due to the no two hp trinkets rule. A counterargument could be '' yeah but guardians have a buffed shield ''. And? What can they do with it? They can't hit you while they have it up, it's only made for situations where you have a teammate. Recon is the class that buffs guns and only they are allowed to use more than one?

I'm my opinion the rules force you to play as a recon or lose, It's honestly my fault I didn't put much attention to them before signing up but I find the recon class extremely boring so if there isn't going to be a change give my man Contri an autowin

If I forced everyone to record there will be only like 5 people playing (Most likely none, since it's only 5), which would be no point of even creating this tournament.

Not all the tournaments we have done in the past that the participates are forced to record.

What I mean about the running away rule is that, just do not go out of the area where the judge can no longer see you. Recon Only has 4 health bar more than a guard, does not really make a huge problem in my opinion. Also guardians can absorb about 2-4 (with swords) depending on the gear and weapon. To be honest I did not even know that the shield got buffed until like last week. "What can they do with it?" ummm, heal maybe. Recon cannot attack while they have their cloak up as well. Also, they lose some of their cloak if they get hit while cloaked. If guardians were allowed to use two or more guns it would be difficult for a recon to take on a guardian gunner, since the guardian will always try to stay far away from the recon and has a shield to absorb some of the damage.

In my opinion I think it is balance since the recon has to get up close to do an extreme amount of damage to the guardian. It all depends how the player plays really. I'm pretty sure there will be more guardians than recons anyways. If you still want to withdraw just let me know.

The rules with gaurdian vs recon are balanced, anything else is just an excuse to run home and cry to mama. The health trinket rule balances out the gaurdian's shield health and shield recharge speed, as well as the regen, all of which recon doesn't have.

Regarding AT, players on the recon's team can observe (or even record) instead of the recon itself to see if they snap to the enemy player. This could work since the uncloaking animation glitch would not be an issue.
