Have you tried to use vials?
My fave set against Jk is : Heal, Poison, Fire, Curse
Also get into a rhythm of slash, shield, slash, etc.
AND don't worry about the jelly he spawns, go up to Jk and bash him.
Last of all, Bring one player with you, it will help you a lot.

9-What bosses can you KILL?* I've done everything except Vana, since PUGs are terrible for JK, so I imagine they'd be worse for Vana.
10-Why do YOU want to join our guild?* Now that I'm leveled up enough, I'd like a place to find good parties for harder runs. Being a loner with a large-ish FL works out sometimes, but most of the time, I think a guild would work out much more nicely.
@granck i had heal/poison/fire/shock. one of the runs strangely enough had no curse vials to pick up. and i tried shielding, and i'm not sure is it just for me, but the bugger hits me once and my shield breaks. i was like "wtf?! can't be that big a jump from snarb to that!".
the jelly he spawns are mehhh, but they do block my vials and going up to JK to throw is not quite a gd idea coz its charge before its attack is kinda short, no leeway to avoid.
@biggie i'll holler at you if you're up when i'm doing JK..provided u're not at fsc..haha!

ALSO, level up your gear to its full potential, it'll show a great deal of difference.
Yes, i know that going up to it and throwing vials isn't the best idea (that's why you have those heal caps), but its better than throwing at the jelly he spawns.
Vials:
- Heal, to heal ( Its not a vial U idiot )
- Poison, to lower the effectiveness of ITS healing
- Curse, let it take damage for healing
- Fire, BURN
- Shock, damage i guess?
- Stun, obviously stun
- Freeze, JK... sit... stay... *runs away*
- Sleep, completely useless, chuck it at the minis
- Remedy, Y U have this here?
