Properties of Player Controlled Rock Jellies
Rock jellies cannot see but can sense light. Because of this, the screen is just one color- ranging from white when you're in a lit up area to black when you're in a dark area.
Whenever you bump a wall, you feel it. This is shown by a blue glow from that edge of the screen and a bumping sound. Pain is felt via a red glow from the direction the pain is coming from as well as via your health bar.
Shielding charges up a meter which turns you back into a rock cube; should you escape the player (or think that you have done so) this may be a wise decision.
Attacking flails your rock jelly body about in an attempt to harass nearby knights.
As a rock cube, you rack up crowns slowly over time at a rate of 1 per 10 seconds. Upon dying, this is the amount you drop. This slows down as time goes on, and is limited to around 1K. There is no AFK timer. You can gamble at the golden slime casino using your crowns that you generate, should you survive in between rounds (which will be discussed later).
Upon death, you release spores that attach to nearby rock cubes, allowing you to regenerate slowly as a rock jelly, or multiple rock jellies, bringing other players or yourself back into the game.
Where and what is this?
Rock Jellies exist in the Rock Quarry, a new clockwork level inhabited by tons of concrete blocks in varying patterns, with spawners underneath of most of them. The Rock Quarry is about the size of the Grasping Plateau.
To solve the Rock Quarry players need to hunt down five hidden buttons, which are underneath the massive grid of concrete blocks. This activates a gate to the exit.
How do we become rock jellies?
Sign up for it just like you would lockdown, and eventually you will be called upon at random, regardless of whether there are any players coming to find you. Then, you wait and chat with other rock jellies for a good hour or so until you are found, at which point you frantically move around and flail in hopes of killing the knight that uncovered you. Sometimes no one comes. Sometimes lots of people come. Sometimes all of the rock jellies are just normal mobs. Sometimes all of the rock jellies are players.
I didn't know I needed this till now.
