All autoguns should have a status effect and deal damage based on plague/pepperbox, so that plague and pepperbox won't be out of line and so that autoguns on the whole won't be such a dominant force in PvE.
Blitz gets stun. That goes without saying.
Grim repeater could get sleep, curse, or possibly stun.
Similarly, acheron needs to be a curse/sleep/stun variant to balance it with obsidian edge etc.
(On a side note, amputator needs a buff.. maybe give it heart attack as a status effect?)
Then shard bombs get brought up instead of down, because everyone hates them and they need a buff compared to more stable, sane, options.
Sun Shards/Salt Bomb = brought up to the other's base damage
Normal Shards = Random Statuses (it needs a bigger buff than most due to the way damage is calculated)
Piercing shards = good vs beasts, gets fire
Shadow shards = good vs gremlin, gets curse or sleep
Elemental shards = good vs undead, gets shock
Elemental shards (new) = good vs construct, gets freeze (new item, blue shard bomb)
Then flourishes get brought up, since in spite of owning them I'm not convinced their statuses actually do anything and I really don't think they need a nerf...
Barb Thorn Blade = Poison
Final Flourish = Sleep? Freeze? I'm not sure. Lockdown players would hate sleep tho..
Nova driver = stun, clearly
Umbra driver = poison or curse
Dark retribution gets nerfed and given a very low chance of stun
Graviton vortex gets brought down and given curse
ALSO MAKE A VORTEX CALLED GRAVITON SNORTEX THAT DOES SLEEP
Some monsters like it raw, also LD is gonna be a nightmare full of statuses. Some of them are unwanted you can for example want to go with a shadow weapon for oilers maybe then find it has fire even though it would be effective against slimes in general. Also would look too flashy. Nah, I'll take a raw Acheron or Final Flourish over any elemental brandish any day (except for Voltedge in FSC).
