The 'Cape Slot'
- will provide extra changes to how shield is shown in places like the Town Square/Bazaar.
- is only a Costume Slot, meaning no stats are added.
Basically, you will need to buy the slot [Like how Weapon and Trinket Slot]
This will
-remove the current image of the equipped shield off the back of your character (That's the shield you use in Depths)
-require you to equip another shield/cape
Why the name Cape Slot and not Shield Costume Slot?
It's because I love to see a cape on my back, like Thor, Superman, Old Cave Man Cape
but Shield Costume Slot is good if cape is not getting introduced.
How is this good to players?
- For those who don't want to see a shield on the back but worry that you'll enter a depth without a shield?
- For those who want to see a different shield other than the one that you use in dungeon but worry that you'll enter a depth with that shield?
This will solve your problem.
How is this good to the company?
- You will be able to create 'Cape' as Cape Costume, which means better looking characters and more customizable option.
- You can charge the cape slot, a sum of crowns for 7days?
- A suggestion for you all.
P.S. I love the Force Buckler
& Thanks Vlad for helping me with making this more understandable.
I was checking your gear outside the AH and noticed you weren't wearing a shield. Must be a shared trait among bombers, because I do that too! I actually prefer not displaying a shield unless it is something awesome like the Force Buckler. (I actually thought of making Force Bucklers standard issue for my guild, sort of like a sheriff's badge.)
Having a cosmetic slot on the character's back is an excellent idea. Shields and banners could fill the slot. Perhaps a white medkit with a red cross for people who often revive their teammates? A powerpack that matches the type of handgun you are carrying? Bamboo cage with lucky snipe friend? ATOMIC ROYAL JELLY capsule.
Anyway, I think Syor's suggestion has potential.
