How to make the kat event fun

- It should be possible to invite party members to black kats. Invited party members would get drops.
- When someone goes solo, any black kats in the newly spawned instance disappears. The "kick from party" button is disabled for as long as a black kat is alive in the instance. When a player clicks "go solo" with a black kat spawned, the game should warn them that the kat will disappear.
This prevents duping and encourages teamwork.
The you can EITHER
- 500 ancient pages would buy a book.
- Book can still drop.
I'd previously say that 1000 was a reasonable rate, but given the armours it's not.
OR
- The whisker system would apply exclusively to black kat raiment. Class armours would craft just as easily as the hats.
Alternatively, those armours need a buff to be worth it. The armours are not worth their current going rate of over 18k energy.

Yeah, I'm over it.
The biggest issue is uvs. Black Kat is only really good if you have ctr high+ and status resists.... But that requires you to figure it out and go all in and why bother?
It's a status symbol, Zeddy. SK isn't so much fun as it is having things.

But that's just the thing, Fehzor. Whiskers are not just black kat. They're also for the other three armours that are absolutely not worth the average required 120 hours of nonstop grinding. Additionally, unlike Black Kat where you can get all you need from just a single whisker, the other armours don't do what they're supposed to (defend you from shadow damage and freeze while providing 2 bonuses) until you upgrade it to 5 stars.

I would say.
That the dissidence between how good black kat is and how poor the other kat armors are makes the non-black kat armors even more valuable than black kat. It's a pretty big statement, that you threw away 50 bucks to make kat eye raiment, and that statement is what Spiral Knights is all about.

Change it.... this was done back in the dark days of SEGA's rule over SK and the legacy of their ineptitude and greed should not be what GH's SK is about.....
Progress towards ANY goal is more desirable than victory by chance..... especially a 0.01% chance
