Hello from Gray Heaven!
My name is Bruno, I'm Game Designer. And I've played a lot of Spiral Knights since the Beta. I came back to play yesterday that I missed and I saw that it changed a lot for the better.
Lately I do not play much MMORPG games, because the Nintendo Switch is giving me a great gaming experience.
Yesterday when I logged back on the Spiral Kinghts (Now with a new account on Steam), the first thing that came into my head is "how incredible would be the Spiral Kinghts experience on the Nintendo Switch." Play with 5 more players, near or far with the help of Nintendo Online, as the controls would marry super well.
The game is visually timeless, so it looks a lot like the game takes that are coming out to the Switch. I think it would have a great highlight there, even more that it is a game with a very positive track record. Won prize in 2011 among other things.
I'm sending my suggestion! I think it would be worth it, not just for fans and people who have never played, but for the game itself. It would be a very good new breather for him.
Well that's it! Congratulations on the changes! They look great! I will redirect to my friends!
Hugs!
Although I would like this, I feel like 2 things are stopping it.
1) Priorities. Would you rather SK on the switch, or a large overhaul of drop rates, balance patches, etc to fix this game? I'd go for the overhaul tbh.
2) GH's visible laziness. Aside from the tiny lockdown events and new prize boxes, they haven't done almost anything. One could argue that the sleep update was free content, but it was such a small update, and it seems like one of those sleep lichens must've barged into their office because it seems like they've gone to sleep ever since then. If they're too lazy to make real content, then we'd be completely insane to believe that they'd do this.
