If you could bring back an old promotional box via a free method, how would you do it?

Was talking on our SK Discord server earlier and had someone mention that the MSI totem trinket drops from "slime boxes", and we corrected them that it drops from "slime lockboxes", but it got me thinking about how the slime casino brought back an old promo and not only made its contents accessible to everyone, but actually expanded the items inside of it over time via new colors and even new items in general.
So if you were able to make a F2P alternative for a past promotional box, how would you go about that? Which boxes do you want to see again, and how would you like to see them be attainable via a free method?

Frankly, this is something that should have been done a long, long time ago. I'm all for old promo stuff returning and staying as cash-only so the rich don't get richer. In theory, at least.

quick and easy way to bring back old promo box items: just let people buy old boxes from supply depot.
Now if "people will get even more richer because they can buy it with energy or crowns.." lets be honest... if they can buy promo boxes everytime in a bulk, they would still buy in a bulk despite is cash only in supply depot in other words, we cant stop someone who is rich already going even more richer since the only way to hit them is just messing with their economy solvency which i hope nobody wish to some of these people losing job or stuff like that. but there could be always the guy who cut the prices because need to sell quick and if that dont sells quick but competence look the price they would also cut the price, which was a thing happened a lot when we used to have a big community. (now dont happen a lot because we have a small circle of merchants).
one thing what could be implented is like other games do, old promo items players can still get it but only recycling promo items but with certain conditions (here could be like, item untradeable, can only be apply once to your costume which also will become untradeable, account bound permanently, this to avoid someone just sticking accesories like these on tradeable costumes or armors, and if it want to be remove you cant get it back so it get destroyed). Another condition should be that current promo items wouldnt appear there until the promo ends and a new one arrive.
the recycling items would be a great thing, but the way it could be is: you can only trade accesories for accesories tickets and costumes for costume tickets, each accesory slots would have it own ticket, same with costumes, let GH set up the prices for accesories i dunno, lets says an aura will cost dunno 10 aura tickets, but you only get aura tickets by recycling other promo auras, and 1 aura = 1 ticket, so you will need to recycle 10 auras to get the aura of your choice. this could be a great thing for both parties, Grey Heavens and Players, as the only way to get accesories ticket its by buying them from market (free way) or buying current item promo (cash) this also great because: help accesories nobody want to be bought by players to get recycled, now accesories get back a value which will not make a potential buyer it waste it money, and best part if even if you dont like the promo BUT you want to support the game you can still buy those promo items and recycle it for tickets of costumes /accesories you really want.

Something something have a recurring event where you can use said event tokens to get any keyless prize box in the game, with retweaking of the chance rate and maybe even randomizing what prize box you get if need be.
Y'know, like the caketastrophy event, but without the side effect of crowding the AH with all the same stuff because you actually have more than 1 kind of prize box you could obtain.
I don't see why the game owners don't just let people buy old promotional boxes from a menu. They could make them available in the supply depot as well, I suppose. The problem is that the game economy is a lot like real life in that there are some players so extraordinarily wealthy that they warp the whole economy. Anything purchasable by crowns or energy would be bought in bulk by these wealthy players while regular players would struggle to buy any. So, if old promotional boxes were offered, it would probably be best to keep it on a cash basis in order to help fund the continuance of the game. Just my humble opinion. I could be wrong.
