So I was just curious, for I'm a new player, how often are updates? Like 1 every month? And what do they consist of mostly, new content, patches, promos. Stuff of that sort =]

The easiest way to figure
The easiest way to figure this out would be to take a peak at the Annoucnements Forum.
Said quickly, usually small fixes every week and content about every three to four weeks so far

Its whenever.... some are just bug fixes... others are really big updates, it all depends on what OOO thinks of.
and its not really consistent, it could be one day for a bug fix then 2 days later another ones, or one day a big release and then a week later a smaller release to help with that one... etc
