I need 453 radiant fire crystals to heat one 5* piece of gear. But it start drops from boxes only at 26 depth, avg amount from 26 depth to 28 depth is 6-15 radiant fire crystals. So i have to make about 50 runs, just for 1 piece of gear. 1 run takes about 40 minutes. I understand that you force players to play, but that amount of time is beyond the desire to play more. I have few solutions:
1 Move radiant fire crystals starting depth 3 depths lower, so d24-d28 will be guaranteed to have radiants;
2 Add 30 fire crystals as dangerous prestige mission reward;
3 Move dangerous prestige mission treasure room 2 depths deeper, so vanguard rank knight will be moved from d25 to d28 with treasure room;
4 Lower fire crystals prices. Set 50E for 50 radiants, 40E for 50 shinings, 30E for 50 glowing and 20E for 50 warm. It's still decent 450E per one 5* item, not 6300E like now.
5 Add rarities booster, that increases chance of getting X3 rarities to 50% or even 100% (X2 or X3 more rarities as result) . You can sell it like elevator pass, that was pretty popular many years ago. It will not ruin economics, cause all found rarities are bound to player.
6 Add one more variant to config: 50/50 shining/radiants for stratum 6 instead of pure shinings. You can make the same for ethernal orbs, 50/50 elite/ethernal for stratum 5.
7 Convert unused heat to fire crystals at the end of depth.
8 Increase chances of crystals droprate by 1% for each completed arcade depth, and 0.5% for orbs. +96% from all gates.
Here are a few more:
-Allow heat Crystals to be upgraded/combined, 9 shining -> 3 radiants ect., this way new plays can actually upgrade their 5* gears without getting butchered in Depth 25+.
-Disable heat drop if the knight has no gears equipped that needs heating, heat is probably the most useless thing you can get from a box, making things less grindy is always appreciated.
-Allow excess heat to be condensed into crystal via some type of exchange (collect X amount of heat tanks in exchange for Y amount of rads). And GIVE heat amplifier a reason to exist.
