Flat out big yes, sadly the other 3 Raiments are not worth it. The Black Kat Raiment outdoes them by far too much by being the best offensive armor in the game, more so if you have Unique Variants to back up it's lack of CTR.
It's honestly better to buy them directly, but they tend to be in like the 20Ke range if not higher due to how much of a trek it is to get em'. Otherwise people mostly get them for cosmetic sake.

I would, except the way you pay other people is to pay Gray Havens for energy, which would reward them for maintaining the event and its gear in this horrible state.

If they want their game to be completely pay to win then I'm going to support it, watch them fall into that trap, and in the mean time I'm going to eat my bag of popcorn and then theirs.
And when they've scared off everyone else because lets face it, you're the rational viewpoint here, then I will own them, and they will listen to me because I am their whale and they are my developers. It's as grotesque and as simple as that and if they really are so blind as to walk into it then I see no reason to stop them.
I will say though that most recently they've been a bit better. The newest content has been turbillion and it looks like they're angled towards doing the right thing with some weapons, are producing more levels etc. so perhaps that will stop this from happening. I flat out don't care either way-- it's wonderful when they're decent or otherwise. They didn't fix this bit however, and appeared to have made it worse. So there's that.
