WHY do the chromas spit deal piercing??
WHY do the spikeless cubes deal piercing??

There are enemies that haw different attacks that deal different types of damage..
So why not the jellies and chromas.
The Jellies spin attack could be normal, while there "thorn up from bellow" would be pierce.
The chromas toung attack could stay Piercing (but make it look pointier) and there spit attacks do normal. And let ALL chromas have toung attack..

Change "Piercing" to "Armor

Change "Piercing" to "Armor Piercing". Get rid of the spikes on the jellies. Think of it as they are oozing their way around normal protections, or their hit has some acid effect that bypasses normal armor.

Hell, before I saw my first spiked jelly, that's what I thought it meant by Piercing.
