"As noted, he is welcome to provide whatever prizes he wants in the official contest or recognize effort himself for those entries if he wants..."
With the possible conclusion of the second pumpkin event, if a knight wanted to help provide items, how would they go about doing so?
What about the sugar?

Not official stance, just what I think would work.
Well, for example probably just, not doing, the only thing that was complained about by the GMs, ie, telling players to choose a competition to join.
When I read the reply from the GMs about this, it really seemed that the only problem was that he told them to choose a competition, thus making less people participate in theirs.
So for example, making your own competition and telling players they can thus get two prices, or that you're handing out prices after the official one and not giving to those who won that one.

@Batabii
I made my own pumpkin carving contest in an attempt to derail the official one, and they got mad and deleted it and people still wanted prizes. Won't do it again I guess but still
Well to answer your question I could just mail whatever I felt like to whoever I felt like for whatever reason I felt like so long as I have the resources to do so.
I do not see myself having much of an impact doing so however, and am not going to go into this further. I am fine with how Cronus has handled the issue and do not wish to anger them or their "pumpkin fun" any further.
If you're Cronus reading this I urge you to go read my recent suggestions instead, as I've written a few serious ones regarding things like drop balance-

And mission balance-

And lastly a fun new area-

Not of course that these ideas will happen, just that they would in my eyes be healthy for the game.
