Apocrean Mission Bug

I was trying to farm the Shroud of the Apocrea event mission, but for some reason the level bugs out every time I try to play it. Haven't experienced this on any other levels in spiral knight, and the game runs smoothly normally. When I start the event mission everything is fine until I take the elevator to a floor where the Apocrea Boss is. Every time I take the elevator it bugs out at 80 something Percent and the game crash.
I have tried Restarting the game, and always end up in the elevator, and again it crashes. I restarted the computer, and managed to get through the elevator once as it still registered the last elevator I had tried to get through, but then it crashed in the next elevator after that.

The computer I'm using can easily play games that are much more demanding than Spiral Knights, so that shouldn't be the problem. Current operative system is Windows 10. My internet connection is also stable, and haven't bugged out like this on other missions.

Have anyone experienced something similar, and/or know what it might be?

Was looking forward to farm for weapons in the event, so would be great if a fix can be found before the event ends.

Agree

Yeah, I have had this exact experience today as well. When I got to an Apoc Level is stopped and kept rapidly switching between 85-90% loaded, then crashed soon after that. I guess I'm not playing it for a little bit.

Update

Well I already had the latest Adobe Flash version, but I tried re-installing it. When I did, it seems I now manage to get through the elevator, but the game just continuously crashes after that. Have to test a bit more to confirm that this is a consistent occurrence.

Fix maybe?

Hi there,

i've been having the same issue and even reinstalled the game but no luck. Just now i did something that might be a fix, i ran some levels of apocrea albeit not a full run but i didn't freeze at least.

Under the video tab in the menu go to advanced settings and select "compatibility mode". So far this has helped me. I'm about to go on a full run and see if freeze or not. Give it a whirl.

(Edit)
Yeah no, nvm it still kicks me out
