I see EVERYONE running around with those cool looking lizard dino hats and I really wanna know where to get one!
(I think they're called Chroma helmets?)
While I'm here, how about everyone post where they got all their cool lookin hats from?

The red one is called Salamander mask btw, it's a upgraded version of Chroma mask that sircusa mentioned.
Those things cost quite a bit to make though, not really something a newbie can spare for fashion.
Coincidentally enough, I've had a dropped and unbound chroma mask gathering dust in my inventory if you're interested.

As for me, I'm boring and I'm using a dusker cap as my costume slot (which I crafted mostly just to see if the dusker got a different skin than the wolver - nope). Underneath it I've got a grey feather cowl, which is happy funtimes.
They're called Chroma Masks (names after that lizard monster it resembles). Pretty much ALL equipment is either bought from vendors or created from recipes (recipes are bought at the halfway point between towns in dungeons called the Crossroads). A month or 2 ago they used to drop more frequently but I don't think they drop much anymore. You can ask around to see if anyone has learnt the recipe or has a spare but it isn't cheap for a new player. To craft it is 100energy and 800 crowns, excluding materials.
Long story short, ask around to see if anyone sells a spare. (I'd suggest focusing on getting 2* equipment and then 4* equipment before anything else to unlock the floor deeper in the dungeons)
