D&N grind actually worthwhile?

I'm getting a tenth the crown payout of FSC and no mats, and with my current completion time for it I don't think I'm getting any more rads per second. The speedruns I can google seem to reinforce this, FSC are lower.

How many more rads are you getting? Like 25% more rads? If I'm taking 25% more time it doesn't sound worth it even just for rads, but I've only run it a half dozen times I think and I don't know exactly how many rads the average is or how fast it can be done. The most rads I've got from FSC is 30 though. I'm yet to get that from D&N.

If you haven't already, you should check out the Lancer Knightz data sets --- particularly the one about Radiants in missions:

To clarify, you're looking for the FC5 column. The data don't address time spent. I don't know about you, but Dreams and Nightmares takes me much less time than King of Ashes.

So it's more like 40% more rads. I guess I should get a graviton.

Edit: for the record, it takes me like 30 minutes to do D&N with prisma and shadowtech, including cutscene time, looting, etc.

I can do D&N in 20 minutes with proto gun and Ash of Agni, and I know people speedrunning it in under 15 minutes with actual optimal gear.

My Vanas are around 30-45 minutes.

Welp, managed to get a 14

Welp, managed to get a 14 minute run with just an umbra and prisma driver, and got a good 30 rads finally. Aaand then I had a whopping 20 minute run that gave only 9 immediately after. The difference was that one time the levels only took 3 minutes a pop while the other they took 6 minutes a pop.

Maybe I'm underestimating my vanaduke time though.

with proper gear my D&N runs

with proper gear my D&N runs are around 10mins and FSC between 20-25mins, so if i need rads i always do D&N and if i need HEAT/crowns i do FSC.
