Deceptive armor stats

I've just managed to create two pieces of the Cobalt Armor set, but I noticed a problem.
Whenever I'm in Haven, and I look at the stats of my armor, both the Cobalt Armor and the Cobalt Helm show "Health increase +1".
However, when I enter the clockworks, my max health stays at 5 and when I look at my armor, the effects seem to have disappeared.

Is there an item set system I do not know of, or is this a bug?

Same, but includes weapons and everything else.

Same with me, except this is the wolver cap and armor set.

Also, not just armor stats, but weapon heat levels are screwing up as well.

Autogun Lv4 isn't suppose to do 8 damage per shot, that's a Lv1 Autogun.

I clearly know this because I did a 6 depth run with that weapon, and as it gained levels, it did 8 then 10, then 12 damage.

Also, the deception in the armor stats is more than health bonuses, as I clearly take more damage wearing a wolver set, from big wolvers, compared to when I had my lv10 spiral scale set, and they are the same average stat.

I also noticed in the advanced training area, when I step on spikes to take damage, It now takes 2 hits with spikes to lower 1 bar of health in half, and before with the spiral scale mail, I take 3 hits to lose one half, showing defense lost... And I take it that my character's items all got nerfed to level 1 invisibly.

Three Rings, your game is FRIGGIN buggy.

EDIT: More info, plus this is a steam account btw.

Lv5 Calibur vs Lv1 Snarble Barb - EXACT SAME DAMAGE! Calibur got nerfed to level 1, except it's plainly shown as Level 5.

If I read the problem

If I read the problem correctly, what you're both seeing is damage scaling which is most obvious on Tier 1. Even folks with five-star armor don't get the listed health bonuses on, for example, Tier 1.

As you move farther down into the clockworks, your weapons and armor will work better.

If you started with full

If you started with full damage it would be stupid because the higher levels wwould be to easy( acounting that it gets harder as you get lower)

The above comments hit it on

The above comments hit it on the head. It's just a poor communication of how stats work in the game rather than a bug.

A true bug in this regard would be the way Faust and Gran Faust have the Speed of a 3-swing sword on their items, rather than the 2-swing one seen on Avenger and Divine Avenger, which have the exact same swing speed.

This page of the Wiki might prove to be useful in the "issue" you think you might be having.
