Hello All. I have a quick question (I hope) that I hope someone can answer for me.
I have 2 accounts, one Steam and one regular account without Steam. When running Apocrea i ran into the same problem that I did last event, where the game would crash consistently before loading into Apocrea levels. Thanks to some research I was able to fix my steam account by switching the steam-version to 64-bit java from 32-bit java using Thrillhaus's guide. The only problem is that I cannot seem to figure out how to do this same thing on a regular SK account. I do not want to move that account over to my Steam, and would really like to fix it, but cannot really find anything that explains how to do it.
Any help would be immensely appreciated.

Cheers

Method 1
copy the 64-bit java_vm from the Steam version of SK to the non-steam one.

Method 2
You can just make a shortcut to the Steam installation of SK, it will only use the Steam account if you launched it from Steam.

Try Flowchart methods

Just wanted to post the link of the Method 1 here https://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/62691, in case u want a guide. Its easy, and u already have java64 donwloaded from Steam so u might not need to donwloaded it again

Fixed!

Hey guys, thanks for the advice. I followed it and just went to my non-steam account after launching SK from Steam, and everything works now.

Thanks a bunch!
