So I've taken everyone's advice on how to unwind yourself from the "Heading into Town Bug", which I experience on a daily basis, prior to running instances that lag to the point of us all being warped at random around the screen (which is a shame, because I love this game).
And it's always worked, albeit it takes 20 minutes at a clip to solve.
Until now.
I am logging in, heading into town. Going to the Arcade. Entering a dungeon --> Black screen. Eventually disconnected. 10 minutes or more of trying to connect before it finally disconnects me. I quit the game, and re-launch steam. Log back into a DIFFERENT character. Log out. Log into my MAIN...
..I'm back in! Or am I. Because the moment I try to enter a dungeon it starts all over and I hang at a black screen.
Is anyone else experiencing this right now? I was in Haven 6. Then 69.
This is getting ridiculous.
Again, I log in. go to the arcade. I try to join a dungeon. BLACK.
Finally quit. Try to log on. Hangs at logging in for 15 minutes.
Disconnected.
Log in.
As a precaution, log into an alt. Logs fine. Log out.
Log my main. As a precaution, log out, since he's started in the arcade and I'd rather he start fresh.
Log back in a third time, as the start of town. Great.
I go into the advanced training area. Swing at a few robots.
Leave the advanced training area to go back to town --> BLACK.
What. Gives.
